Went here in a party of 8 to celebrate a 21st. Beautiful meal, all got different starters and main courses. Fabulous food, served together rather than 1 or 2 waiting a bit longer. Menu is vast therefore difficult to choose. Exceptionally busy but it was a Saturday so to be expected. No issues with service etc all very courteous . I booked another meal for a few weeks time to celebrate my wedding anniversary as we had our reception in the Coachman 23 years ago in Dec.

My family and I have now been frequent customers of The Coachman for several years. Although we do not live very close to it, we love the food so much it is worth the small journey to leave as very satisfied customers. Fantastic choices of all sorts of dishes including family favourites, traditional steak pie and fish n chips plus a wide variety of other tasty dishes including Italian & Indian. My personal favourites are the chicken skewers with peppers & onion or risotto. Starters and desserts are amazing too with ice cream sundaes to die for. All in all an extremely friendly pub with a host of pleasant staff and managers who go out their way to always make our visit an enjoyable one. We have also made a fabulous circle of new friends who also frequent there. All in all (as they say on Strictly) it’s a 10 from me. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant/bar/hotel to all my friends. Good management certainly helps and James does that very well. We are very grateful to have stumbled across this establishment and look forward to enjoying it for many more years.

We called in The Coachman for an evening meal after a day out and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The food was well cooked and was served in good portions. We took our desserts home in a box for later.
The car park at the front is small but there is a bigger one around the back.
There is an outdoor seating area and a separate bar from the restaurant.
Overall we had a great experience and we would recommend the food.
Went for lunch, place is nice and staff is responsive. Some table are a bit close of each other and I get maximizing floor count but a bit more room would give a better experience.
Food menu is varied and what we ordered was nice. Drinks selection seems ok, just sad I couldn't get an amber ale.
Dessert selection is also nice.
Overall, would recommend and with little improvement they could make it a 5 star!
Visited here quite a few times now for dinner and have been impressed with every visit! Staff friendly and attentive on every visit. Food has been great on every visit - so far, never been disappointed. Good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks available. Menu has a big selection which normally means food quality can be under par; however, that is not the case here. I can, without a doubt, recommend the chicken kebab, any of the burgers and the steak pie! The automated buttons on the table to request more drinks and the bill was really good but that seems to have faded out. Also been here on a night for drinks with friends and there has always been a great atmosphere. Plenty of parking round the back of the venue, if the front car park is full. Large outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice too! Cannot recommend enough - worth a visit.
We are cycling the John Muir way and this was our first nights stop. We only ate here.
I was impressed with the vegan menu and everything we had was delicious. Good portions as well.

Great staff and service. Really looked after my 85 Yr old mother, she was well impressed. Lovely beer garden, has heaters and they provide blankets if needed. Great prices and a very big selection of drinks.
My partner and I stayed at the Coachman for two nights as we were attending a wedding at Glenskirlie Castle. Staff at The Coachman were all pleasant and very helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and service was excellent and food was delicious. Our room for the two nights was nice and very clean. I have nothing negative about our stay. I would highly recommend staying at The Coachman. I can say we will definitely be coming back.
Not been here for quite a while. Service very good, meals also very good. Menu lots of choice. A wee bit noisy but lovely surroundings. Will b back 👍

Went for Sunday dinner and it was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and attentive to the tables equally. 4 of us had the Sunday roast and everyone was very pleased. The starters were great just a nice portion. The lamb was cooked lovely on the Sunday roast as well as the cauliflower cheese and veg.
Nice family meal, good attentive service. Family of 4 two course, with 2 rounds of drinks under £70. Good value
Went for dinner late Sunday Afternoon. 1st class Service, very friendly staff. Food was very tasty and portion size is very generous. Tried some cocktails which were very nice indeed...this is my new go to Restaurant.

The serving staff were never too sure who got what for which table.
We booked to reserve for 15 people but we're all sitting on different tables yet another party came in and staff got other tables and joined them all together so they could sit next to each other. 10 of them. They didn't book to reserve or the table would have been set up.
And although a pint of heverlee was a superb price I think £5.70 for a vodka and irn bru is ripping the urine a bit. £2.90 for 25ml vodka and 2.70 for a can of irn bru.
Will I be back?

Only there for lunch. Both times, it's been busy. Parking is not great. Especially if there is a funeral party in. No complaints about the food.
There is a box on each table with 2 switches. One for service and one for the bill. Great idea for a busy restaurant.
Exceptional food in an unexpected place. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's great, and there's a huge car park. The cakes looked gorgeous but bought in, I think. I had a huge burger and chips, which was delicious 😋
