Food was awesome. Very reasonably priced. Drink is also not expensive. We sat in the outside huts. Totally worth it, had an amazing night. Just don't forget about your tab. Will definitely be back.

The food here is amazing! Been a few times and never disappoints. The staff are lovely too, very upbeat and seem to genuinely love what they do. The cocktail menu is amazing too. Can't wait to try some next time.

With the weather unexpectedly becoming dry and warm, our visit to the Stag was eventful, with the beer garden being very busy, there was a delay in our courses being served, but I can say we were kept informed and the management took the opportunity to make us feel welcome with on the house drinks s

Never had anything less than perfect service in here. The food is excellent and the staff take pride in what they do. Cajun crêpes are half price on a Monday, but I'd eat them any day of the week. 100% recommended.

First time here and would 100% recommend a visit if your ever in Kilmaurs. Paul, Donna and Alana were amazing and so friendly, the food was great as well. Paul was fantastic at the drinks! Every drink looked and tasted amazing. Thanks for having us guys! We will definitely be back.

We were at the stag & thistle for afternoon tea and it was brilliant. The place is lovely and cosey. The sandwiches and cakes were so good. All fresh. Went 25.12.17 for Christmas dinner. Was welcomed straightaway. Staff couldn't do enough for everyone. 3 course Meal was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

It's nice having a gourmet pub that you can have an enjoyable dining experience in. It's looking great since the refurb and it has a really cool outdoors bit that you can sit in with heated kind of shacks that you can dine in. They also do takeaway if you want to have nice food in the house instead
