Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the laird’s table. Had eggs Benedict one with bacon and the other with haggis, both delicious. Really liked that they were on waffles. Enjoyed the twist on the laird’s blood gin. Also loved the decor and view of the lake. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!

Our first time visiting and we thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was good, especially the hot smoked salmon and prawn cocktail. The only slight dampener apart from the weather was the utterly ridiculous £4.50 for a pint of soda and blackcurrant, but we will be back despite this.

Arrived too late for food but managed to get a take out coffee. Great cakes, great service. Not sure about the plywood screens.

Set in a wooded area overlooking a small fishing loch. Went to the restaurant two Fridays in succession in the evening. The evening menu is small but we had no problem finding a number of dishes to suit everyone (including gluten free options). The food is of a high standard and well presented. We had guests with us on each occasion (from USA and Fife) who described the venue and the food as superb. Couldn't argue with them. The standard of service was professional and friendly and added to the overall experience

My husband and I visited the Laird's table for a weekend lunch. We had no booking but the staff were happy to accommodate us. Absolutely beautiful setting with gorgeous calming views. The food was excellent and there was a good selection to choose from especially at lunchtime. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and couldn't do more to help us. A little gem just up the road from us so will definitely be back.

Love the location in Craufurdland Estate. Its beautiful beside the lochan. Not surprised they sit fishing in the sun there. The Lairds Table is quite expensive. The kind of place you'd book for a special celebration. There is also a great wee cafe further round at the entrance for the fishermen. You can have a cuppa & cake, or hot/cold rolls etc. Much cheaper. In between the restaurant & cafe are the toilets. Ladies, Gents & 1 disabled.

Unexpectedly lovely menu in what we thought was only a cafe but had a full menu of delicious options for meals and a drinks license. Well set up for covid safety measures - one of the best I've seen. We walked in from Glasgow Road through the pathways round the fields and the woods. The food being a reward for the walk overlooking the loch. Well worth a visit! (Probably best to book).

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the fishing loch. Has a great menu at affordable prices, sadly it's takeaway menu only just now due to the coronavirus restrictions. Local walkers, cyclists and fisherman use the popular kiosk cafe attached to main restaurant.

Had a lovely brunch here. Food very fresh, service was quick and staff were lovely. I enjoyed the quirky nature of the decor. The " Naturist" pics in the women's toilets and the perambulator ads in the baby change area are interesting talking points, but nude female pics in the men's toilets are not only a definite NO but would be enough to make me turn and leave if still there when I returned. The laird might be a self-styled "green dude" but he seems to have missed the call to join the 21st century and the Me Too movement.. he should show more respect for his female customers and staff and be an example to his young male staff

Great place. Food was great generally but over oily onions on my steak sandwich spoiled it a bit. Lovely view from window.

Great food, excellent service, despite staff preparing for a funeral party. Lost a star for atmosphere as while very comfortable with good view to the water, it just lacked something.

Great lunch at The Laird's Table today. The salmon with herb and curry crumb and a tomato and chilli sauce was delicious and the sticky toffee cake after was the best I've tasted. Highly recommend ⭐

I like the Lairds Table. Staff are attentive, menu isn't huge but its tasty and well presented. 2 courses and a few drinks came in around £25 a head. Nice setting and easy to find. I'll definitely go back.
