Visited on my own as staying in the hotel next door. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was very good. Everything I want from a pub connected to a hotel to be honest.
We found cotton mill out of desperation, our Haven holiday park only offered fast food and we were all desperate for veg! Table of 10 was booked online, and all went to plan. Food was excellent, more than we expected. Staff were friendly, and very welcoming.

Last minute booking. Restaurant well laid out. Met on entry by friendly waiter and shown to table. Table service was a nice touch. Waitress very polite and friendly. Fast efficient friendly service with good quality, value and portion size. Would definitely return and recommend
Popped in for a wee something to eat! Great service and good honest food! Quick service, plenty to choose from and food was lovely and hot! Good selection of drinks and even alcohol free ones for the driver (not just fizzy drinks). Will be returning again soon 😁
Went too cotton mill cookhouse for dinner with hubby great service staff really friendly food was excellent. Had the beef lasagne in chips brilliant.

Had a few meals here…always decent service, price and quality. Compared to other similar type of restaurants in the area, the Cookhouse and Pub seem to be one of the best. Recommended.
Dinner was very good. Breakfast was not so good with a waitress that was working on her own. Food took a long time. 35 mins long.
This was a great restaurant and staff were so helpful and thr food was superb
