Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. 2 steaks, side and sauces and bottle of wine for £35. It was quality steak cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, will definatley be returning. Sunday is another favourite of ours with kids eating free!
Located in Killyleagh approximately 35 minutes south of Belfast My wife and I were advised to go to the pub for food and what can I say it was fantastic but even more so with the Welcome that we had in the bath on a Sunday morning with a half a dozen people it was absolutely fantastic cannot wait to return there and spend an evening listening to the music on a Saturday
Excellent Food . Terrific Service from friendly helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend here !!!!
Attended a lovely confirmation meal for Tamzin Gribben this evening and was very pleased with the excellent staff, food and service. There was a large party of us with many differing requests that the staff accommodated as quickly and as efficiently as possible. And the Yorkshire pudding was immense! Look forward to our next meal at this friendly intimate restaurant 😍 Thank you 😍
The dufferin home of the famous banjo burger fresh home made steak burger with all the trimmings and much more comes with pint of beer or drink of your choice all for £6 were would you get it then a walk down the street to the scenic harbour walk to walk off the calories then back to the duff for the traditional music that starts every Saturday about 15:30 also the friendly banter in the bar were there is always service with a smile
Attended a Christmas Dinner Party with friends here last Thursday night. The food was excellent and there was a great ambience where we were seated downstairs. The service was first class and the staff were friendly but not intrusive. Would definately return and would not hesitate recommending to friends.
can't say enough nice things about this place !! the food was really good the waitress that served us was very attentive not just to us but everyone that came through the door don't know her name but she is a gem will be back !!
Beautiful food yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Our waitress was Jenny and she was just amazing, not just to us but to everyone who was there, fabulous person for the job. 👌
Lovely friendly staff so helpful, young barmaid made us all feel welcome from start till closing time, would recommend to anyone x
We had a delicious meal served by very friendly and attentive staff, even better the manager threw a few pounds of the bill, which these days came as a complete surprise, we will definitely be back there, when next in the area!
Just home from the best meal ever and great service well worth the money
My Friday was a Tuesday this week! Treated myself to your pie of the day with vegetables, pommes frites and a glass of vino! Was very yummy indeed. Thank you. No dishes to clean up after! Tasty, good value mid week treat!
What a great friendly pub, local people playing traditional music and singing, food great too defo recommended
Although I live in comber, I call the Dufferin my local. The people are all so friendly and welcoming, and it has the best music session going every Saturday from 4 onwards.
Would recommend this pub, restaurant in a heartbeat.
Come and join us, the craic is ninety!
Perfect wee midweek stop! Spicy Bean burger with guacamole...mmmm, my friends scampi was delicious too!! Great value for money! Peach, raspberry and white chocolate tart just finished off a great evening! Love the atmosphere, love the staff, love the food, love the Duff!!
Had the most amazing meal the chicken stack was amazing and the best champ I've ever tasted...great food had by all
This place was everything I hoped it would be. I didn’t try the food, but really enjoyed a pint and the atmosphere. There was live music (on a Saturday) and I absolutely loved listening. I loved how so many people seemed to know each other. This is what I expected an Irish pub to be like and I was not disappointed!!! Hope I get to return while I’m in town!
Lovely restaurant... The Duff Fish chowder amd Guiness Wheaten bread was lovely as were our main meals (fish and chips, amd the chicken stack) the staff were very attentive, and great service. Will definitely return 👌👌
Great food, great service and well priced....had a great evening 😀
Went for a meal with my husband and two kids to celebrate his Birthday. Although we are quite local, we have never been to the Dufferin before however, I have a feeling we will be back pretty soon!!
Great selection on the menu, food was piping hot and everything had a really home-made look and taste.
Dessert selection was also superb and different from the 'norm' that you get everywhere else.
The lady that served our table was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, definitely a big thumbs up for service.
Live music was just starting in the bar area as we were leaving, looks like a lovely spot for a drink.
Nothing negative at all to say about this place, really hit the spot and everyone agreed that we would be back again hopefully sooner rather than later!
Delicious food and wonderful service here. Very friendly and so helpful at accomodating allergies which was really appreciated. Good variety on the menu to choose, from light lunches to more hearty winter fillers.
Cosy setting inside with the walls covered in old pictures. It is nice to sit there and take it in. On nice days the benches outside are a nice spot to sit.
Amazing staff and food (variety of vegan options too). The local IPA was lovely even though I don't usually like IPA's! Really recommend, art shops and little galleries either side and nice little walks (we stayed next door) 😊
I took 7 friends from England to the Dufferin on Friday night and we had a brilliant time. One of the most atmospheric pubs in NI, the service was first class, the food was perfect higher end pub grub, and we all had a great night. Thanks Austin, Cath and team.
The food was fantastic and the service was the same. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and taken to or seats. Social distancing was met and there was a lot of space. Orders were quick and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit if you can.
Great quirky old pub, friendly staff.
Food very tasty and reasonably priced.
Trad sessions Saturday afternoons.
A very busy bar & restaurant with a lot of history. Food was fantastic, the servers more than helpful & we weren’t rushed out afterwards.
