This isn't a deli, It isn't a cafe, not isn't a coffee shop. It's another room in your house where the craic is always great, the grub is always too scrummy, there are too many nice things to choose from, the delicious stuff to buy is always top quality, and the staff are part of your family. The only improvement I can think of is to add several more days to each week to increase the opportunities to go there!...oh - and for some of the male customers to wear proper shorts instead of lycra - some folk are trying to enjoy their food!

Discovered this little gem last week...back again this week. The food is freshly made with fine ingredients and imagination. The staff are welcoming and friendly. A pure delight to go to....a new local even though my friend and I live in Newcastle and Castlewellan

I was there this afternoon with my mum and two children (3 & 21 months) the staff were amazing and so considerate of the kids - happily split a smoothie without being asked, brought a second plate to split their lunch. My lunch was so so tasty! I hadn't been in years and definitely won't leave it so long again!!

Lovely wee spot. Extensive menu, great food, welcoming staff, fantastic location. How they cater to such a high standard in such a limited space is incredible.Promoting local produce is always a plus. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

What a fantastic find - 7 of us plus our dog have just had the most delicious lunch in Picnic. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The menu is wide and varied with lots of local produce. Every one of us loved our food and we will definitely be back

Love, love, love Picnic Deli! Recommend it to everyone. Usually come here for coffee & a sweet treat &/or lunch, the choice of which is fantastic! Always gluten free choices on offer and any of the ciabatta/panini fillings can be made with gluten free wrap or rolls...just ask, the staff are brilliant & very helpful. My favourite has to be a GF wrap with harissa, goats's cheese and rocket/salad...delicious. Went in this morning for a coffee but was tempted into having an absolutely gorgeous bowl of porridge with cream and a rhubarb & blueberry compote. Decadent but seriously delicious

As Killyleagh Castle is the final destination for Off The Ground Theatre during their summer tours, we always have the opportunity of going to this wonderful cafe. There's not much to say, other than incredible staff, a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food and drink!

Beautiful little cafe and lovely food which was very reasonably priced. We just wanted some hot drinks and buns but you could get some lunch options too. Buns were a great size and far better than regular traybakes! I tried a beautiful vegan peach, raspberry and blueberry cake and it was devine! The kids had a massive bun between them and loved it! Lovely staff too. Would definitely recommend. Lovely view of the castle and the heaters outside were a great touch!

Called in for coffee and really impressed by the huge selection of cakes, traybakes and savouries. Would recommend the sausage roll with Ballymaloe relish (everywhere these days) and served with a side salad. Also tried the raspberry and coconut cake (GF) which was lovely too. This and two coffees was £16 which we thought was quite expensive but isn't everywhere? Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and good food, just a little small but that's part of the charm. It was our first visit and will be back when we're next in the area. One star off for the outdoor toilet (if you can find it).

Gorgeous little cafe with a lovely array of foods. Great choice and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. Deducted a star as they burnt something and smoked the cafe out and didn’t open the door to let the smoke out. Easy mistake any can make but I do recommend opening the door if it happens again. Other than this it was a lovely experience.

Fabulous as always, the buns and food here are all worthy of being on MasterChef. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to every time and the staff are so upbeat and helpful is a joy being there. Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious food! We both had the breakfast stack (though I had the Ballymaloe relish instead of the chili jam) and the mix of flavours were just gorgeous... can't praise enough! We sat outside in the sun with a view of the castle.... perfect! And the young girl who served us was so friendly... altogether an excellent Sunday brunch!

Had a very nice bistro quality lunch here. Good ambiance. Service a little slow and cramped but wasn't too bad.

This establishment is our first choice for refreshments in this part of Northern Ireland. The staff were friendly and well organised. In my opinion, the food is also very good.

Nice wee cafe with home cooked food. A bit more creative with the menu than the average coffee shop. Plenty of choice and friendly staff.

Just love this place. I have super sweet tooth and they never fail to satisfy my cravings after a cycle down from Bangor.
