On my daughter's hen weekend staying in Callander, she chose to dine at Ciro's on Saturday evening for our get together meal. There were 17 of us eating there. I must say the service was excellent, Sam our waiter is a fabulous asset to the restaurant, he has even called a dessert after my daughter when she asked for something not on the menu, vanilla ice cream, Nutella with cherries... Suzi's paradise.. I also have to say that the food from all courses was absolutely delicious. On leaving, we had called the taxi firm to take us back to our lodges, unfortunately, they let us down by saying they were too busy to come straight away, so after about 10 minutes the chef, Sam and another lady who worked there, decided to take us home. What a wonderful gesture. It was very much appreciated by all 17 of us. I would highly recommend a visit when you are next in Callander.
Stayed over night in Callander, food was lovely and freshly cooked, we shared a garlic cheese pizza with rosemary, which was lovely and the mains are a decent size portion too, staff also very friendly and attentive and food is good value for money and the place was quite busy for a Sunday - would recommend
I've been lucky enough to eat at Ciro's on several occasions over the past few weeks. Each time has been absolutely outstanding. Incredible food and fantastic service. Thank you very much to Ciro, family & staff for making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend!
My boyfriend and I popped into Ciro's on a spur of the moment night away to Callender. It was the best meal I've had in a long time!
I ordered parmesan pizza bread for starter, which was yummy but a tad larger than expected but the waitress read my mind and asked if I wanted to keep some to go with the main, which we did! I then had the King Prawn pasta and couldn't believe the size of the prawns that arrived on my plate, fully shelled, perfectly cooked and delicious! I finished off my meal with the homemade tiramisu which was light, fluffy and had the perfect amount of coffee. My boyfriend had calamari to start, perfectly cooked, followed by surf and turf wirh more giant king prawns and the apple tart to finish, all of which were simply delicious.
The superb food was further complimented by the excellent service we received.
We would highly recommend Ciro's to anyone, might have to book another night away just for the pleasure of eating there again :)
Absolutely faultless we go miles out of our way just to have the pleasure of eating Ciro's delicious food. The restaurant is beautiful and the setting is unbelievable Scotland is a beautiful country and one of the most perfect places to visit is here
Thank you for a lovely meal yesterday, perfect end to the birthday celebrations.
Fabulous meal in a stunning location. Will definitely be back
Brilliant customer service, we called to see if suitable for us to take our nervous dog along with our others, they said yes happy to give it a go and suggested we book an outside bothy as a backup incase he wouldn't settle.
Arrived, greeted at door and informed us they had a table at the back of restaurant area they could put us which was ideal. As it happened we had nothing to worry about and the dog(s) behaved impeccably.
All the dogs had medium size dog dinners which were quite large and looked good enough to eat myself.
Our food was excellent and we all, humans & dogs, walked away full and happy.
Surprisingly great place to eat. Despite fryers being out of order there was plenty of good food on offer. Stunning location right on the banks of Loch Tay
Great food with a picturesque setting to enjoy whilst you eat and drink. Fantastic value for money .... the 2 photos I added are part of the lunch menu and only cost £12.95 for the 2 courses (£15.95 if by some miracle you can manage to squeeze a desert in after the 1st 2 courses). Absolutely worth venturing off the beaten track to experience this little gem!!!
Reasonable. I had big pot of mussels and beetroot carpaccio to start which was very tasty. Friend had Thai fish cake which was crispy and chicken balmoral which was juicy. Pudding was brownie that I liked but thought was the sticky toffee pudding… 😂😕🤦♂️
Accessible but has a very long steep driveway and gravel carpark.
We stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised, the place is modern yet cosy and the food was amazing. Good quality ingredients cooked well, already looking forward to our next visit
We had dinner here.
Excellent food and drinks. Very accommodating. Incredibly dog friendly, to the point they have their own doggy menu.
Good choice on children's menu.
Amazing restaurant with delicious food and great view to the Loch and Nice/simple setup yet cosy ,with a modern fire place in the middle of the room. I'll definitely go there again and highly recommend this place.
I can't wait to come back, food was delicious, cocktails were amazing and the staff Magda and Mark are two of the loveliest people. Thanks for a lovely evening ♥️
Lovely staff, dog friendly and all in all a good place to eat - in an area that can be very overpriced.
In-formal and relaxed while serving nice food and drinks.
Had a really enjoyable evening at the Boathouse. Was expecting it to be quiet as its off season, but glad we booked as it was packed with a great atmosphere and friendly greeting.
Started with cocktails, which are good value at £7.95, in fact the whole menu is reasonably priced.
We started with the red pepper and goats cheese croquettes which were really light and tasty.
We then had the chicken Balmoral and pan fried chicken and both were excellent. Nicely cooked, fresh ingredients and tasted good too.
Finished it off with Cranachan which I wasn't too keen on. Raspberries were nice, lots of Whiskey but too much cream and not enough oats for me.
All in all a great meal and I'm sure we'll be back.
What can I say the food here is amazing definitely value for money. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Just amazing, they even have a vegan menu with some really tasty options! Would highly recommend. Another bonus, they have a dog menu as well 🐕🐾🐶
Decided on going here this evening for a last minute meal. We booked a table with no problems. The views are beautiful across the Loch and we are glad we chose to eat outside. The staff were friendly and attentive whilst the food was delicious. We couldn't of asked for better and we will definitely return.
Went here for a meal with my girlfriend. Had two courses each and a side added on as well. Food was very good, and big portions too! Staff were very nice despite obviously being short staffed like everywhere else, they did their best to see to everyone and food and drinks were brought in great time.
Fantastic food in a glorious setting. Friendly and helpful staff. We had fish and chips, fish pie, crab cakes and chips and the steak and sausage pie. All were delicious. Then squeezed in a fabulous whisky brownie, salted caramel ice cream, raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake. All COVID safe and a lovely end to the day. And the espresso martini was a lovely finish to the meal.
