Came here for a bite to eat after walking the Acharn forest circular. Plenty to choose from on the menu, all seem reasonably priced. We all enjoyed what we ordered, generous portion sizes too. Staff were very friendly and attentive, service was quick, and it was dog friendly inside as well which was a bonus. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to eat in Killin.

We timed our visit just right between tourist trips. Lunch visit while we are on holiday in the area and food was good. Loads of chips but still had room for sticky toffee pudding.

We live in Argyll and have been to Killin many times but today was first visit to Capercaillie. Quite a wait for take-away sandwiches but they were obviously made fresh and the wait was worth it. There was more ham than bread - lovely creamy coleslaw and fresh salad and crisps, all served in a clever food-safe box. Well worth the visit with helpful friendly staff . Thank you!

Lovely spacious restaurant in Killin close to Falls of Dochart. Great menu Pizzas, Burgers, good selection of classic mains dishes. A monster Scottish breakfast served mornings only and the best morning rolls ever with sausage, bacon, egg black pudding with doublers and treblers available at a small extra cost. Staff were lovely, very friendly. We had delicious Hunters chicken today with bacon, cheese french fries, coleslaw and salad for £13.95. A grand, hearty portion. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Top scran and helpful service. Wandered in after a day on the hills and staff squeezed me in for food on a busy Saturday evening. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and prompt service.

It was very busy the day we visited but service was prompt. We had cream of vegetable soup with a roll. It was delicious. The staff were rushed off their feet but still chatted and gave a good service.

Stopped to see the Falls off Dochart on our kayaking trip for my YouTube channel More Than Just a Cleaner. Called in at the Capercaillie for a bite and a beverage having been here several times before on my travels. As usual the service and food were excellent 👍😁

Good choice of take away options, panninis, sandwiches etc. Came with a decent side salad. Good selection of cakes too, perfect for takeaway for an afternoon of cycling.

We bypassed the pub right on the falls because it was rammed, whereas this place was a lot more relaxed, with quick, efficient service and great food a few yards from the bridge. Keep going and find this one!
