Killiecrankie Visitor Centre Cafe - Killiecrankie - Photo album

What a lovely autumnal walk. Beautiful changing of the leaves at this place with some of the tallest trees I’ve ever seen. A few waypoints visited on this walk. Even the opportunity for bungee jumping. The cafe was beautiful, lovely cake selection. The home made soup was delicious and filled us with
Great little stop on the way to the North, amazing fresh cakes and food for sit in or takeaway, lots of souvenirs and gifts, toilets and nice walks around, parking as well but it is paid for.
Stopped off here for lunch and ordered a sausage pie and vanilla latte, it was delicious and the service was great 👍
Great woodland walk alongside the river Garry. A short flight of fairly steep steps lead from the visitor centre down to the riverbank. The “soldiers leap” is slightly upstream from the centre but the main path goes downstream alongside the base of the railway viaduct. A comfortable walk for around
Food was OK a bit pricey for what u get service was excellent views stunning
If you had seen what I have seen! Simple building with wee shop and cafe. Drinks and scone excellent. Staff member very interactive. Just what you want.
We arrived at Killiecrankie Visitors Centre then did the walk to Soldiers Leap then to the base of the viaduct onto the Garry foot bridge...totally awesome. Finished up back at the Visitors centre had the amazing homemade butternut potato curry soup with crusty hot bread.....awesome..✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Cool place. A huge range of food from British breakfast to soup for lunch, salads, pizza, pies, rolls, hot and cold drinks. And everything is very tasty. Delicious and incredibly beautiful gluten-free dessert. I recommend.
Paid car park (£3 at time of posting) with visitors center that includes a cafe and separate toilets. The walk gives good views of the viaduct and river. The start of the walk has steep rough steps which would be challenging for visitors with mobility difficulties.
Lovely quaint dog friendly centre. With good hot and cold food choices including rolls, sandwiches, paninis, soup, baked potatoes and pizza. Allergies catered for. Large Gluten free cake selection. Gluten free sandwich was delicious. walk to soldiers leap via forests stairs.
The walk was nice, scenery amazing. Paths were a little muddy with recent rain so recommend suitable footwear.
We always enjoy coming here. Great walks, amazing views. It's 2 miles plus from the visitor's centre to the foot bridge. You can walk back round on the other side of the river or you can walk all the way to Pitlochry. Paths are well sheltered from wind and rain. Good to have the visitor centre. Few
Great place for lunch and history.
Café is lovely... Highly recommend the pizza! Great bird watching bit right outside, a small outdoor play bit for the kids and toilets. The walks itself is great and beautiful. There used to be boards around the walk trails to tell you about interesting parts, but most of them are no longer there so
Beautiful location for cold water dips & cliff jumps 🤙
Stunningly beautiful scenery. Great wee restaurant/cafe and bungee jumping/ zip lining, not for the faint hearted. 😉 Beautiful place all round.
Nice cafe and nice food. How they ever managed to have a battle here astounds me. The soldiers leap is impressive, it must have been a terrifying decision to make. Face the enemy and probably die, or leap the river from the rocks. Worth a visit if you like nice views and history.
Great new cafe just opened up for sit in and takeaway! Nice selection of paninis lovely French style chocolate cakes! Walks are of different grades but the young ones and the dogs enjoy going all the way down to the riverbank by the old bridge. Seemed to be less history on display than previously, t
