The pub seemed fairly quiet today except for two large groups of people having dinner. I ordered via the app - which is new since I last visited and this was much easier for me than going to the bar to order. Food arrived promptly as ordered, portions were great and no issues with the food. Drinks however were forgotten and I had to remind a member of staff. I was disappointed that when the two large groups of people had left that their tables of dirty dishes were emptied onto the table next to where we were sat and were left there for a considerable amount of time before being cleared away. Maybe half an hour to 45 minutes. If it was extra busy then perhaps I could understand but it didn't appear to be - my apologies if there were other things going on that I was unaware of. We are regular visitors to this pub and so are used to the usual excellent service that we receive, so it was a shame for it to be different today especially since the owners didn't appear to be around. It will definitely not put us off visiting again and I will update my review accordingly.

Good old fashioned pub grub in pleasant surroundings. Great staff. Food basic but very tasty and reasonably priced. You can have two meals from a selected menu for under £12. Incredible value.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Commercial, a restaurant/pub located in the heart of killay. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my experience there. The atmosphere of the place is warm and inviting, with a comfortable and relaxed vibe. The decor is well thought out, with elegant lighting and tasteful furnishings that make you feel right at home. The menu is extensive and features a variety of dishes to suit every palate. I particularly enjoyed the roasted salmon with a side of grilled vegetables. The flavors were amazing, and the presentation was beautiful. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and the portions were generous. The food was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was top-notch as well. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure that our dining experience was a pleasant one. They were attentive to our needs and provided excellent recommendations. I particularly appreciated the recommendations for drinks to accompany our meal, which were spot on. In conclusion, I highly recommend The Commercial to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a fantastic dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch, and I look forward to visiting again soon. Southern fried ckn burger was really good and well priced. Also have my favourite drink thatchers haze in bottles :)

Bloomin great chilli burger. I've paid a lot more for not as good in gourmet burger joints. Really good burger and excellent value and switched on staff. Good job #whoknew. 2022 update...been a while due to circumstances beyond our control...but we are back...all I can say is Steak and Ale pie... outstanding. And as always super staff and management.

Always a lovely atmosphere and wonderful food. Lovely and not over priced.
