Corkage £25wine ,£45 for champagne. Able to do a delicious vegan meal on request. Starter and mains I stuck to fish, smoked trout and plaice(£27). Fabulous attentive service in the private shared dinning room. Only downside side for me was allowing the other party to have a dog in this dinning room.Pah.

A joyful experience from start to finish. Ate in the bar area as had our wee dog with us. Wonderful welcome with prompt, professional, friendly service. The menu was exciting and varied with a combination of tastes and textures. Food was expertly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere in the inn was lovely as everyone seemed delighted to be there enjoying good food and company. A definite ‘must’ if you’re visiting the East Neuk and appreciate quality dining

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and great service. We showed up without a reservation but we were lucky enough and the staff kind enough to secure a table for us. But probably it is best to reserve a table upfront so you don’t miss out on this great place. They are dog friendly which is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a fabulous restaurant. We were staying locally and booked the restaurant a couple of weeks before our visit. So glad we did. The meal was exceptional from start to finish. I chose the Scallop starter from the specials board and Braised Lamb. Husband chose the Hake Beignets and the Grilled Pork. I had some lovely Sancerre wine which dinner and a couple of cocktails for dessert. Such a beautiful restaurant with lots of space between tables. Staff were so friendly but professionally efficient. Brilliant meal all round.

We stopped in on our way home to Dundee for a bite to eat. Having never been here before, we didn't know what to expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Taking time to explain the specials and answer our questions. We both had roast chicken with lemon potatoes and aioli. There was a generous helping of chicken served on the bone, which was tender and succulent. The roast potatoes were divine, and the aioli was amazing. There were roasted tomatoes served with the sauce, which just brought a pop of sweet tanginess to the whole dish 10 out of 10. It was busy, but everything was ticking over at a nice pace and everyone seemed to be enthralled by their own dishes.

Lovely anniversary meal last night. Decided to come back after an impromptu visit on Saturday. Didn't take many photos, as was enjoying the company, and ambiance.

I had octopus as starter and skate as main. It is hard to describe in words but it was absolutely amazing. I've been in Scotland for 4 years now I haven't had such a superb seafood apart from the usual deep fried British sea food.

We were in for dinner on Friday night and I can honestly say, it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. The food was outstanding and the setting just gorgeous. What an addition to the Fife food scene! What made it for us though was the service. My friends and I all agreed that our amazing waitress couldn’t have been more friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. We even got offered a wee tour of the restaurant before we left. Nothing was too much to ask. I will be back very soon!

An hours drive from Edinburgh for food that was out of this world fantastic. Big flavours from local produce and served in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Simply wonderful.

What a lovely place set in beautiful quiet village. Incredibly relaxing. Our meal was truly lovely and the hospitality was very warm and heartfelt. One of the hosts had lived in Adelaide (my home town) and we had a lovely chat. Highly recommended!

Really good standard of food from an interesting menu with only a few choices per course (a good thing in my opinion), focussed on high quality local ingredients. Great to be dog friendly. Very welcoming with good cocktail list and excellent service. Only marked down a little for the pricing, which seemed high, even accounting for the standard vs other similar places we’ve been to.
