Found this gem of a cafe back in November last year and have been going there ever since. The food is lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Lynda is so bubbly and friendly which is something you don’t see too often these days. We always feel better after visiting there.

Me and my family (6 adults, 2 children and a dog) called in as we were passing on our holiday's. what a lovely welcoming place! We had amazing food and lovely service. Even the dog was brought out fresh water and made a fuss of. We sat outside after enjoying our food chatting not knowing that you were closed discussing the tasty mash!! Thank you for the lovely service. We will be back soon xx

Thankyou Time for Tea for the fabulous cream tea. The sandwiches were beautifully fresh, the bara brith, welshcakes and scones are warm and delicious and came with butter and loads of jam and fresh thick dairy cream. There were even strawberries and little macaroons . I thoroughly recommend you go and try it out yourself. We scoffed the lot.

Myself and my youngest had a bacon roll yesterday morning, the cobs (i don't care, that is what i call them lol) were lovely and crisp from being lightly toasted, very nice, bacon cooked perfect and not over done. My eldest had a medium breakfast, she enjoyed it, still hot when brought out. We shall be visiting more often. Thank you :).

At the very beginning it was easy to like this little tea room/cafe. Free parking is available in a small car park, behind the opposite row of buildings so don't let the endless double yellows put you off. The cafe itself appears to be run by locals of the younger generation and that is well worth supporting. The small negatives first; the sign was accidentally left saying "closed" and the 5 meal order didn't all arrive at once. The bathrooms could have been a little tidier, but we're by no means off-putting. Now on to the positives; the service was, at all times, courteous and friendly, especially towards the young children. The menu is made up of lots of fresh and local produce with 'traditional Welsh" breakfast, various toasted options, cakes and bakes etc. I chose poached egg on toast which I am happy to tell you, was very tasty and properly cooked, the eggs were nicely sized and choices of toasted bread was offered. Tea is served in delightful little teapots and matched the food perfectly. Prices here are very reasonable, with plenty of choice. Definitely worth another visit next time.

Excellent service and tasty food. We had 4 breakfasts (2 meat, 1 veggie and 1 gf) and it was all really lovely. Great gluten free menu too. Highly recommend. Ps. Please change your ketchup tho, it's nasty!

Brilliant vegan/veggie menu. I had the vegan breakfast which was delicious. And a vegan chocolate and caramel cake for dessert! 😋 Lovely! Very friendly staff, and a good location near kidwelly castle.

Lots of vegan options. I had the vegan breakfast, the food was delicious especially the scrambled tofu (I've never like tofu before when I've tried cooking it but it was excellent). Good portion sizes too. We'll definitely be back.

Nice little tea Room. Wide choice of options on the menu. Had to wait a while to get served at the table, despite it not seeming that busy, start e maybe could pay a little more attention since they do not allow ordering at the till, only paying. Can't fault coffee or cake we had during visit. Seemed clean and friendly enough otherwise. Would consider stopping off here again in the future, but only if other coffee shops nearby weren't there to give a go. The garden out the back is nice, but could do with a bit of sprucing up to make the most of the space. I'm sure a bit of a paint and a tidy up would do the job.

An excellent find! Do visit, if only for a cuppa. Dog friendly. Great menu; great value; great food. A little quirky, but attentive staff and a jolly nice range of cake!

Time For Tea is one of those places I’m really excited to go to when I’m in Kidwelly. I love getting some breakfast there! As a vegan, I find it extremely precious when a small town cafe serves good vegan food at a reasonable price and this is what Time For Tea does. The service has always been great, and it shows that the team really cares about their customers. When I last visited, I was served by a young woman and a young man (who I believe was also very new to the job!) and they were both really professional at all times despite how busy the cafe was! I strongly recommend you stop by Time For Tea if you’re around. I’ll see you soon!

Really friendly and accommodating staff. The environment is cosy and well decorated. There's a garden out of the back. Very varied menu for all dietary requirements. Free magazines and newspapers to read. Dogs are more than welcome. I really enjoy coming here.
