Home cooked food was excellent. Staff friendly, open fire given a real local pub feel. Good job...
Bank Holiday Sunday brunch. We had the club sandwich and chicken sandwich and it was really lovely. Nice location by the canal to watch the boats go by.
Good food, easy to find, easy mooring. Friendly staff, dogs aloud. Great atmosphere. Thank you very much!
Very helpful and friendly staff/owner and locals. We ordered the Sunday roast and it was the best I’ve ever tasted, the gravy was amazing. Quality food, just how it should be. A proper pub with proper values, fantastic! Very highly recommended!! And Douglas the dog was made very welcome 🐶
Very clean and friendly place for families friends and dogs!
The location is fantastic for kids and dogs to sit outside by the canal. Plenty of seating inside and out. My meal was delicious - the perfect portion size and very reasonable priced! It was a Bank Holiday and they put on a very good BBQ and a free Bouncy Castle. To top it all, the service of the st
We've adopted this place as our 'local' since moving to the area a few weeks back. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The canalside beer garden is a nice relaxed place with a bouncy castle for the littl'ens. The cider it cold and crisp, although it would be nice to see some Old Rosie on tap.
We stopped our hire boat opposite and went in for lunch. The two female staff were very warm and friendly helping us with lots of questions. The food was great and I would recommend anyone stopping in.
Had to give the Rock five stars. The wife and I we're searching for a place to eat after looking at several other local pubs decided on the Rock. My wife had the fish and chips and I the burger both were fantastic sat in the sunshine friendly helpful staff very worth a visit.
Good simple pub with nice garden by the canal. Hasn't been gentrified or turned into a gastropub and all the better for it - menu is simple but fine. Popular with canal boaters and local people. It also seems to be the post office for Enslow.
Excellent staff, Excellent food. We were too early for a quick return for breakfast next day but owner have us a lift to train station! Def recommend if hungry!
The staff here are the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever encountered in a pub/restaurant. Had dinner and the food was excellent quality. Would recommend to everyone.
Was only there for a short while but from the couple of pints I had: Very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. Great beer and snacks. Cracking views. Very much recommended!
Have been a few times recently.....great beer garden by the canal with bouncy castle for the kids. The Rock Burger gives GBK a run for their money and the sirloin steak from a local Dexter beef farm was as good as it gets - big, tender and amazing flavour for only £14. Proper pub food cooked very we
