Went for a birthday meal.. We all enjoyed the food well presented and tasted lovely.. Service was excellent. I cannot think of anything bad to say as everything was lovely.. Well done kitchen staff and front of house. Will recommend..
Just popped in for a mid week treat. Food and service were excellent even though it was very busy. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend to anyone. 😊

Me and my family visited last night for the first after driving past several times, and i have to say the service from the time we walked in was second to none, friendly staff who were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us, the lady behind the bar offered a helping hand to my other half as he was undecided what to have and when he has about the Bacon and brie burger one of the guys actually got him some to try, very helpful food came out quickly and was absolutely lovely, we will definitely be visiting again.

Called in last night for the 1st time just for a drink the pub and beer garden were very busy. While at the bar the food coming out looked good so we decided to order.
Even though very busy our food was on the table in 15 minutes and delicious the 2 for 1 makes it excellent value for money. We will be back.
£22 for a Lamb Shank meal, a Monkfish meal, large Chardonnay and a pint of Pedigree. What is there not to like????

Really nice wholesome food in very nice surroundings at a reasonable price. Staff were attentive, nice and friendly. Only downside is the QR for the table service didn't work. Not a huge issue as it's easy enough to order from the bar. There was also a wasp buzzing around which was a pain at times but not much anyone can do about nature ! I would recommend 👍
Visited around lunchtime. The pub wasn't too busy but a nice steady of people coming in for meals.
It was half-term and they had an offer on where kids eat for £1 with adults purchasing a main. They also have a lunchtime specials menu. Very good value.

It was such a nice place to visit I’ve been twice now with my family and partner and we’ve sat inside and outside to eat and drink and it’s been great both times. The staff are incredible, so polite and always on the ball so credit to them. The food always comes out perfect, still hot and yet delicious. Even when they are fully booked the food is out to you within a respectable amount of time so credit to the kitchen staff for always being on top of it. I would always recommend this place to anyone as it’s always top notch and just a very enjoyable environment. I look forward to coming again another day :)
Can’t speak of this place any higher. Service is at the forefront of there business. Staff are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to meet everyone’s needs. Foods even better as it tastes really good and very affordable. Was exactly what I needed after cycling all day long. If you’re passing though definitely pop in for a feed
First time we've visited since the previous landlady and head chef had left. Very pleasant experience - food was good albeit we only had scampi and chips. Staff were very pleasant. Short staffed as a member of the team had failed to turn up which meant the lady tending bar was very much under pressure but she remained calm and very pleasant throughout.
It was a family meal booked very late as we were let down by another eaterie. Warm welcome on arrival ,seating comfortable but table surface felt a little tacky. Food and drinks ordered at the bar all very efficient. Food was mostly very good, one piece of meat in a pie was a bit gristly but otherwise fine. Pleasant atmosphere and staff worked well.

Been a while since we've been here but we weren't disappointed.
A busy Bank Holiday Saturday evening in the sunshine and the staff were amazing. Very few front of house/bar staff visible but so friendly and efficient that's all that was needed. One bar man was on his first day but was so skilled that we thought he must be the Manager but no, the Manager was in the kitchen as they were short staffed........it didn't show. The waitress was running the inside and outside dining areas efficiently and still had time for a quick chat - she had stepped in from another establishment to help her old boss out as they were short staffed. It didn't show. Food came out in good time and piping hot. Many congratulations to all the staff for a job well done. You excelled yourselves.
Just had lunch and I have to say that it was really good
The staff are all so polite and friendly, the meals are a good size and great value and served piping hot and very quickly
I would certainly recommend a visit and we will be coming back next time we are in the area
Had an amazing meal at the Park Gate today! The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Joshua who served us. Very helpful young man and amazing customer service from him!
