Lovely local pub. Good value for money. 2 courses for £9.95. Staff were attentive. We had a lovely evening. Will definitely return. Sticky toffee pudding is so nice!

Couldn’t fault either the lovely service or food here, both great. Our first visit at the Queens Head, lovely lady who took our orders and so pleasant to chat to. Thoroughly glad we’ve finally tried it, the food was very nice, my wife and I called in mid afternoon on Valentine’s Day. Was told new management since I think last September ? Got good chefs now apparently. Had the posh fish and chips and steak pie, both with chips, very nice. This place has a nice vibe like it’s genuinely cared for and the people running it care that you’re happy. We will book for a Sunday lunch sometime. There looks to be a nice beer garden and they are dog friendly (dogs obviously not allowed in the main restaurant which is understood). We sat in the bar which was very nice. We’d been on a lovely circular wooded walk at nearby Hurcott Woods about 5 mins drive away. Wolverley is a lovely little village (we’ve stopped off a few times now), nice wooded walks and a good sized car park next to Gil’s tea room (also a fab place) which is next door to the Queens Head - we will be returning for sure.

Had my 50th birthday party at the Queens Head on Saturday. We had such a wonderful time, the whole day was absolutely amazing. The food was spectacular, the DJ was fantastic, the room was perfect. The bar staff, Annette, Millie and Amy, were outstanding and so friendly and also a big thank you to Ed and Dave for creating a truly phenomenal buffet. Thank you so much to Natalie & Ed for such a perfect day, there was nothing at all to complain about, just fantastic. You have the perfect country pub. Highly recommended for any event.

Just dropped in for a refreshing pint. Very warm welcome from other patrons and staff. Only had one Amber ale ( my favourite) but well kept and did the job. Not overpriced either.

Great pub. Only popped in for a drink, but the food looked nice as we passed other tables. Nice little beer garden and a room with a pool table.

Great local pub with a cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, and fantastic homegrown and locally sourced food. Have visited several times now for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday lunch, and special occasions. The menus are reasonably priced and regularly updated. There is a great selection of meats available on Sunday, which comes beautifully plated and with plenty of veg provided. Dessert is always fantastic, so make sure you save room! All in all, a great dining experience and well worth the price - highly recommended.

Lovely old pub, well worth a visit. We went this afternoon for Sunday lunch. It's very close to us, and decided to go on the basis of good midweek food enjoyed there in March 23. We had food there a few times before the most recent change of management, and it was pretty dire - microwave specials, lots of cooking oil. But my goodness, today's offering was on a different planet entirely. The roast beef was wonderful, easily the tenderest and best tasting roast beef I have had in many years. The veg was cooked beautifully, as was the Yorkshire pudding. Portions were generous, leaving you feeling very well fed. Others in our group had a mixed meat roast (beef, pork and turkey - you can have any combination) - and a vegetarian option. Suffice to say, clean plates all round. Desserts were very good indeed, and beautifully presented. Service was prompt and friendly. Kids are welcome, and there's a lovely part-covered beer garden at the rear. This pub really deserves to prosper.

Went on pizza night (Tues) and they were great and well priced. Lovely back garden to sit in with lights. Service was a little slow but very pleasant and we weren't in a rush. Would definitely go again

Obsolute gem of a find! Staying at the caravan and camping site with friends. Out for an afternoon stroll and a couple of drinks. Back room had lovely comfy chairs and a pool table … perfect. Whilst there we booked a table for the evening too! In the evening we returned, table was ready for us when we arrived. A few other couples were in there too. The meals being served were looking awesome. Our order was taken and even though one of our meals were not available a substitute was made quickly. When the food arrived all four meals were very well presented and tasted amazing to say the least ! The staff were amazing and very professional even though there was another diner who wasn’t happy with his meal. You can never please everyone! Then it came to choosing desserts … was not disappointed there either! Our food and drink was amazing, the staff were awesome and I’m sure we will be back if we stay in the area again! Big thank you from us and keep up the good work!
