Lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere, great decor of old photos and memorabilia. Menu had something for everyone and good prices. We ordered the carved ham,tomato and pickle sandwich with gourmet chips and the hot wings sharer,it was scrummy. Staff were friendly,pleasant and helpful and very diligen

Really good traditional town centre pub. Dog friendly. Child friendly. Visited here during narrow boating holiday. Real ale Excellent food and desserts. Correctly priced. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. 😀
Thank you today for looking after us with sandwiches and chips , after it had been decided to close the kitchen due to away supporters taking over the pub which the Swan wasn't aware it was a designated away supporters pub .surely harriers and the police should get this sorted . But thank you once
Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and good quality for how cheap it was . Very tasty. Nice lady behind the bar let me use the plug to blend the meal for the person I support. Pleasantly surprised.
Saturday evening, great music and great atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced and good choice of cocktails. Thumbs up and highly recommended
Needs to be a cake and beer pub tbh and have a bigger set up outside maybe hire something off the market guy's for one night of the week or summit and put on a ticket only entry to see a comedian or bacon grill lol I like bacon
Been there several times for drinks and food the welcoming you get from the very friendly bar staff is first class and the food is exceptional.
Staff were friendly and it had a good atmosphere.
Ate burger and chips which I liked a lot.

Rather surprisingly decent food in the day time, well worth a visit if you're in town and want the most legit plowmans around! the selection of burgers is good too. I like the swan in the daytime quite a lot
Lovely staff ... Very considerate of gluten free vegan needs. Chef made a lovely salad for me as he thought I couldn't eat the chips because they are fried in a fryer in which they fry gluten containing products. Very impressive consideration for his diner.
Such a great atmosphere, with 80s,90s music being played loud at night . Drinks a reasonable price too. In the day they serve food but not tried yet . Inside basically a pub nothing special but at night comes alive with the music
Always good at the swan drinks service and sport on
Really nice pints of Guinness the barmaid knew how to pour a pint
