Large, home cooked food with a real range from home breaded whitebait, scampi and calamari through to 4 different pies including steak and venison. Lovely food, great environment (3 beers on draft) and have visited a couple of times since first visit.
Bit more expensive than I would have expected,but good food. Nice service from an older gentleman, he was nice to fit us in for food when they were closing the kitchen. Beautiful surroundings , recommended!
Lovely first visit,but certainly not my last,friendly,welcoming staff and the food is amazing,I would recommend the belly buster mixed grill,

Beautiful setting and tasty, homemade food and drink. We were a large group (16 plus - we had given them advance warning) but this prevented no problem at all. Service was great and we all were able to eat together. Highly recommended. Thank you.
A really characterful pub in a beautiful rural location. The steak pie was particularly good with gravy to match, vegetables were cooked properly. Deserts were very good, my wife said it was the best Bakewell tart ever, I had apple & rhubarb crumble with custard, gorgeous.
Nice pub hiden in countryside with not bad view from beer garden. Been there couple of times and every time I enjoyed it. Food is delicious,beers are fresh. Table service as well.
