Very friendly staff , service and quality of food excellent. I had a nut roast with roast potatoes and veg and can say it was one of the best I've had. Was brought extra veg gravy without any fuss. Desserts also spot on , two course meal on a Sunday around £13.
My favourite restaurant in the whole world..... the steak is to die for.... friendly family run place. Very warm and welcoming, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic meal

We popped in after coming to see our new house for some lunch. This will become our local now... Fish Finger sandwich was Excellent... and Nachos with Chilli was a huge portion glad we had that instead of the main size... haha

Popped in for Sunday dinner and found the menu hard to choose from as their was so much choice ,but settled on the pork roast. The staff are so friendly and welcoming u feel at home instantly with very relaxing surroundings.

We went to the Swan at Blakedown tonight (Sunday) for a fiftieth birthday family meal. I would like to say that the landlord and staff were friendly and very helpful. The menu is excellent with a wide choice of meals to suit all tastes and appetites. The food was delivered quickly and all of the meals were excellent.
I would recommend this pub for meals whatever the occasion or just for a meal out. The food is excellent and very good value for money. The service is very good and the pub has a good atmosphere. I cannot fault anything - 5 stars all the way.

Was driving past it around lunchtime and thought it looked quite a nice pub so thought why not pull into the car park and check it out? It was very comfy and relaxed inside. Nice ales and cider on tap, and great food. If I'm ever round that way again, I'll definitely be visiting again.
Really enjoyed the leg of lamb, so tasty and the food came out quickly, only thing I'd say is that the carrots and cauliflower couldve been cooked longer, other than that cant fault it.
Really lovely gastro pub. Sort of shabby chic decor. Food was delicious. Really wholesome. Proper traditional Sunday lunch. Great roast potatoes and parsnip. Melee of veg, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cooked al dente, as well as boiled potatoes! Good range of puddings. And excellent service. Highly recommended.

We are local to the Swan and went for my Wife's Birthday with a party of 7 all I can say is just perfect food, staff everything we always have a great time the Hunters chicken is the best I've had only complaint cushion's on the chairs in the conservatory are a bit flat and that's all.

Great Sunday lunch. Have visited a few times now when travelling from Cambridgeshire to see family locally. Restaurant areas are nice, clean and tidy and the food has always been very good with a lot of choice, really good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again!

First time visiting this pub in over 30 years. How it has changed and all for the good. The food was absolutely beautiful and the people courteous, polite, welcoming and friendly. It still retains its cosiness with alcoves and rooms even though it has been knocked through and had a large conservatory built. There was nothing to dislike, and we'll be visiting again soon.
Great little pub, really nice atmosphere inside. Interior is immaculate and has some lovely Christmas decorations. The food was good and very reasonable, with a good choice of all courses and there were vegan options so double bonus. Would happily eat there again.
