Coming from America the sound of a "Carvery" was interesting. Back home there are no places left that cut beef in front of you. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home right away. This is a locals restaurant and pub. Vegetables are local sourced and my wife really liked that they were not over cooked. Having traveled recently in several large cities, the 12 pound, 3 course meal was an absolute bargain. The taste of the food was also a very refreshing change compared to normal bland restaurant food. It is not a fancy place but neither am I. The Carvery offered Turkey, Roast beef, and two kinds of Pork. The plate was large and we were given lots of meat. The vegetables were self serve. The special offers a single to thru line. I could not eat my full plate so I am going to say the portion is normal to large. Deserts we're good according to two in our party. Like I said I was stuffed from the main course. The Fox Inn is a must stop in if anywhere near the area!

First time I've been here, and they had 3 courses for £10. The food was nice enough, the starters would nice.. Good amount of flavour. The carvery had a wide selection of vegetables, and the meat was wonderful. The roast potatoes had a weird herb crust on it, which wasn't to my taste, and the potato gratin wasn't to our taste at all. You aren't going to win it all! The dessert was lovely, the sticky toffee pudding was just amazing.. so much flavour! The apple crumble was okay, custard was a bit watery. The chefs were so friendly and polite. The servers didn't look like they were that thrilled to be there, and the service could be very slow.. considering how quiet it was. Would I go here again? Probably yes. It was cheap, and the food was nice enough!

Nice pub, although not very warm on our visit (mid October). Portion size from the menu was on the small size although the carvery was generous. Lovely puddings. Service was good.

We had a delicious carvery lunch today. Everything tasted nicely cooked and full of flavour with a good selection of meats, vegetables,Yorkshire puds and gravy, mint sauce, apple sauce etc to choose from. They also had other menu choices if you didn't want carvery. The desserts were absolutely delicious, can't say more really, yummy! The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming, oh, and the beer is good too 😀 👍 Dogs are welcome.

MENU: We visited as a party of 4 on a weekday. We had the carvery priced at 3 courses for £10. Full menu also available. VALUE FOR MONEY: See above! Some good deals on offer here. FOOD: 4 meats available and good variety of vegetables. All cooked to perfection. SERVICE: Excellent and friendly. LAYOUT: A fair amount of space between tables which we liked although I wouldn't want to be seated at the table at the end of the servery as this is where the queue lines up. The decor is clean, fresh and has been done very tastefully. ATMOSPHERE: Very pleasant, not noisy even when it started to really fill up at around 1pm. OVERALL: A definite recommendation but you'll need to book.

Saw the Fox, Kidderminster on Facebook and thought we'd give it a try. What a revelation. Fantastic food and service. The carvery was the best we'd ever had. Lunch three courses £12. Absolute bargain. Will be coming back.

I've been to The Fox Inn twice now with friends and family. It's a lovely drive and its a lovely quiet and relaxing place. The staff are all very friendly and looked after us well on both occassions. The three-course carvery meal is excellent value and very tasty as you can see from my attached pictures. I will definitely be revisiting again throughout the year and probably for years to come.

Had a lovely fathers day meal here on Sunday. We were placed in a little area at the back which was again perfect. The carvery was beautiful we had pork, gammon, beef and turkey. It was fab being able to help yourself to as many Yorkshire puddings as my little one loves them. The potatoes were cooked perfectly too I just wish there was mash. I love my carrots soft and they were great here. Gravy was nice and rich plus hot. Our 3 children had chicken nuggets and chips. The chips were thick and not cooked inside enough, still had a slight bite. Fries may have been nicer and easier to cook. Nuggets were fresh and nice. Pudding was a bit over priced for the Eton mess found there wasn't much there. I had choc chip cheesecake see picture. Lovely day and they had loads of staff on too. We wil be back xx

We went with two friends and all had the carvery meal on the 3 courses for £10 menu. Good choice of starters and desserts. Carvery was excellent. Choice of three meats, all moist and tender. Good range of vegetables. Definitely worth a visit.

We booked a table for 2 at 6pm and were very surprised how much choice we had on the menu. We had to go for the 3 course meal (£12) we had soup of the day (Broccoli& Stilton ) with a carvery as the main and waffle and icecream for dessert. The whole meal from start to finish was really tasty and we couldn't fault it in portion sizes whatsoever. There's ample parking around the back where the main entrance is by the way and it's really pleasant inside with friendly helpful staff . I'd highly recommend a visit and will be going back as soon as we can as it's just a great place, one thing I'd say is make sure you book as it can get busy.

Consistently go here for Sunday lunch and it’s superb. For £14.95 pp you get a generous quantity of good quality meat plus loads of beautifully freshly cooked veg. Located in pretty village which is always a nice drive. Highly recommended.

We have been here before and again mixed reaction to the food. It is incredible value and the serving staff are great and very efficient. We had the soup for a starter- French onion but it was very salty and over seasoned. The carvery is great- 3 different meats but there is a small selection of vegetables- roast potatoes are very hard and there is no mash or boiled potatoes as an alternative. The puddings are ok though I was unsure of the ice cream flavours and the crumble pudding was overly granular. Beer has got expensive £5.70 for Proper Job- an excellent beer. All in all a mixed experience- bill for 6 came to about £92 just over £15 a head which is good value. Like the ambience of the pub and it is busy understandibly.
