We came home from this beautiful hotel Sunday. We had such a wonderful stay and it's so worth every penny. The food was incredible and the staff are tremendous. We are definitely going to go back for a long weekend.
We went for a lovely (belated Mothers Day) afternoon tea. It was delicious and plenty of it. Could maybe do with a few more sandwiches and a few less cakes but otherwise we couldn't fault it.
Great place. Really enjoyed our time there. Go and try
Spent a really nice few days here. Very nice and recommended.
Didn't stay the night, only had a meal there. The pub part was really nice and the surrounding rooms lovely. The food was good. And we were able to take the dog in the bar area where we ate. It had a beer garden and overall worth a visit if you are in the area.
We stayed here for three nights and would recommend both hotel and restaurant.
Convenient parking in the small hotel car park or two other areas for hotel guests on either side of the road to Tesco.
The room was fine, overlooking the garden at the back.
We ate in the restaurant on two of the nights and the food was excellent. Nice breakfasts including the option of fruit salad.
Staff were helpful.
Great place.
We visited on Thursday evening - Steak Night. The most tender rump with a good wine and excellent chips. We followed this with an Apple & Stem Ginger Crumble and Creme Brulee. Perfect! Unobtrusive attentive and cheerful staff, and obviously a great chef and kitchen staff. Our first visit to celebrate our 37th anniversary, but we won't need 'an occasion' next time.
This is a beautiful old Manor house , converted to a pub, hotel, and restaurant. The garden is lovely, the hotel is lovely, and I wish it was somewhere else. The road it is built beside is noisy and makes sleeping very difficult. Breakfast is hot food mainly, no buffet spread. We had lunch on Sunday during our stay and dinner on Saturday night. The food is excellent. The rooms are £119 a night with breakfast included.Keynsham station, the swimming pool and town are just a short walk away.
Needed a place to stay in Keynsham and this fit the bill perfectly. Easy walking distance to most areas of the town, and close to Bristol if visiting there. Staff very attentive and helpful, polite and efficient. Room was nice and thankfully had a fan in as it was a warm night. Decor was a bit tired, but in keeping with the age of the hotel. Nice shower room, plenty of space. Stayed on a Sunday and was surprised to see that the bar and restaurant closed at 17:00? A shame as I was planning to end the evening in the bar, other nights as normal until 22:30.
A great steak night at the old manor house, nice cut of meat well cooked and presented. Desert was good too creme brulé had good crunch glaze, as was the apple crumble well presented with a proper topping.. we will be back!
Had a meal for our sons 40th, just family. Service was good, atmosphere brilliant, staff were excellent and the food was amazing!
If you're looking for a peaceful evening with good service and great food I would recommend
Thank you for a lovely time
We were celebrating a 70th anniversary with a family meal for about 40 people. Service was excellent, staff were brilliant
A gorgeous Easter Sunday lunch with family. Lovely food & attentive staff. Three mouthwatering courses served by professional & courteous staff. Fab roast potatoes. Definitely recommend a visit here.
Went for a special family meal. Both adult and children's meals were delicious. Fab steaks and burgers.
