The snooty fox is fabulous. We have been quite a few times and always had an amazing experience from their friendly knowledgeable staff, the fantastic wine and the unbelievable food. Our most recent trip here tops them all. We got there a little early and were greeted by what I can honestly say was one of the loveliest people I’ve ever come across, Siobhan. She was so welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite and to top it all off, hilarious. She reserved us a table as we hadn’t. Made us feel so welcome and appreciated as she served our drinks. We then went to the dining area and had probably one of the best meals ever! I can’t remember the servers name but we have had him on many occasions and his knowledge of their dishes and what wines pair perfectly, the attention to detail he had is honestly phenomenal. My partner had a 42oz TBone steak and I had the lobster roll, one word - WOW!!! after we finished our food we went back to the bar for a few more drinks and the lovely Siobhan was there. She is the perfect face for the snooty fox. Aswell as the fabulous staff and food. The location, the atmosphere, the decor is all just so lovely. It is the perfect spot for a couple, a family, anyone. I can’t recommend it enough. Even in the bar area had some fun games and a dart board.

I have to say that this place is superb. The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu was excellent. The staff were brilliant. Very attentive polite and friendly. The drinks menu is wonderful with something for everyone. The atmosphere was great and even though the place was busy it was easy to hold your own conversation. The place is also dog friendly. All in all a wonderful dining experience and we'll definitely be back again

Our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much. This time we enjoyed the Sunday Roast 3 course Set Menu, where among the many highlights were the smoked haddock scotch egg and oysters with Bloody Mary dressing starters, the rare roast beef main and the creme brûlée and cheese board deserts The quality and choice was outstanding for the price. The service and knowledge of the drinks and food menu was top notch. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning.

The triple fried chips and gravy were delicious, I could have just had an order on their own. The sirloin sandwich on toasted bloomer - the meat was quite fatty and, for me, there was too much spread on the bloomer and that's all I could taste. Good portion size. Pub is great but is a little confusing (huge mirror at one end of the room, with blue lights and the toilets are black). Staff were great

Found on the main road through Lowick, it has ample parking around the back. Front door and rear door entrance. Restaurant dining and a nice bar area.. The menus are reasonably priced, the food is generous, and the service was fast.. Taken over by new owners they've done a fantastic job with decor, and making customers feel comfortable. Booking is advised for the Restaurant. The bar area has lots of space and the odd pair of eyes watching you from the wall.... ( stuffed animals ).. A great place to go for an evening and dress up for the occasion.

A very pleasant rural pub with a good restaurant in a quiet village. The bar has good seating and great range of beers. Imaginative restaurant offers limited range of very good meat and fish items. Service is friendly. A bit pricey but a good experience.

We went here for Sunday lunch for the first time today. Cannot recommend this pub enough. Definitely the best roast we've ever had, and we honestly thought nothing would beat The Griffin in Mears Ashby, but this place did. The portion sizes are decent, the food is expertly cooked and obviously fresh. The service and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The wine list is extensive. The seating area isn't overcrowded like some places feel and there's plenty of room between tables. The food came out at decent times between courses and we didn't feel rushed. We had the 3 course menu for £34.95 each and felt this was reasonably priced given the quality of the food. Also really impressed at the fish and seafood options, as I find restaurants that offer this few and far between these days, unless you're near the coast! Highly recommended, we will be back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. :-)
