This was our first time visiting the Hare pub and right from entering the establishment it felt a friendly place.
The staff were very polite and obliging.
Everything, tables, chairs, crockery and utensils appeared clean and of nice quality.
We ordered our food from the nice selection of dishes available. It didn't seem like very long before the meals arrived at our table, all at the same time and piping hot.
If I had one minor suggestion to the servers, it would be that any salad accompaniments should be brought to the table first, rather than waiting for it to arrive after the main hot ingredients were already sitting in front of us, but this was only a matter of a minute or so.
The sea bass ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious, my chips were excellent and no complaints at all from the rest of our party regarding any of their meals. Clean plates all round must be a good sign for any business serving food.
The guest beer we had was Hobgoblin ruby red and was just as it should be.
As usual the desserts in all these places are overpriced for what they are, however what we did have was very nice.
Overall our visit was a complete success and all thanks to the great staff and good chefs.
Value for money I would say was good and as such we will definitely be booking again in the near future.

I used to come to this pub over 25 years ago obviously now it's under new management and was an absolute pleasure to be here for lunch and friendly staff my mum loved it and she's hard to please we now have somewhere to look forward to visiting more regularly now
Great place for a Sunday roast. The lamb was superb. Staff and service were excellent. Will definitely go again.
Everything about this pub is fantastic, the food, facilities, atmosphere and particularly the service. Great with the kids and the dogs too!
Lovely salmon linguine. Plenty of salmon in it. Its always hard to chose a dessert at The Hare as they are all lovely. I had the ice cream with baileys. Truly scrumptious. Great staff who made us feel very welcome
A great local with friendly and attentive staff. They have a good choice of beer and good tasty meals! Has a garden and ample car park.
Great village pub. Good food and friendly service . Just over £20 for a main and pudding.
I, my partner and two friends went for Sunday Lunch. First class friendly service by all. Food plentiful, tasty, well cooked and hot! No complaints here, would recommend. Well done and keep up the good work. Thanks.
We had our annual Christmas meal out with friends at The Hare last night and it really was fantastic. The food was so good and excellent value for money. Also, very friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble.
If you want a beautifully cooked Christmas dinner then you can't beat this place. Well done, we shall be back!
A lovely sunday lunch, quick service and food was best we have had out for a long time.
