Troy’s is a family favourite! We enjoy the food, which has always been fresh, piping hot, and served by the most friendly business owner. They’ve got a broad menu and cater for everybody (even Veggies). Thanks for the excellent service; we’ll be back again soon!
I thought the fish was amazing! The batter was crispy and not drowned in oil! The fish was flakey and very soft! Chips were nice and fluffy, I also had a southern fried chicken wrap which was good too
Troy’s chips are Vegan, and they range of Vegan options setting themselves apart from the majority of chip shops (that share the oil between the chip and fish fryers.
The staff are friendly.

A superb, polite, professional and most important of all, *competent* take away, who don't have soggy chips dripping in oil and greasy doner meat that goes rigid in ten mins. Lean, beautiful food, and a HUGE range of food at that!

Best fish and chips in Northamptonshire. So fresh like we are eating at beech . Their special sauces are so tasty. We tried every food on menu during few years, never got disappointed.Its always worth travelling from northampton for eating there. Definitely recommend it
Plesently surprised by how nice their chips are. Will be returning for a burger as well, hopefully their food is as good as their chips across the board. If you're looking for good fish and chips, give them a try
Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the best fish and chip shop in Kettering.
The level of service you receive from everyone in this shop is amazing. We ordered this evening and for the first time something was missed from the order. The manager came on the phone and apologised (and truly meant it), got the item to us in under 5 minutes and the staff member whom delivered the item was so apologetic.
For the first time in many years of ordering from various restaurants I felt a valued customer and I cannot recommend this enough to anyone.
Also hands down to the best fish that I've ever ordered!

My partner had a donna wrap with all the salad and he asked for curry sauce on his wrap and he is very pleased with it he can't eat the whole thing as its so filling..defo be go back there and ask for this again.
This was the first time that my wife and I have been here as we're from out of town visitingourson, my son has had deliveries and said that he had enjoyed the food. There was a plethora of options on the menu, most of which was right up my street. The prices are very competitive in comparison to where I live and the staff ( with no exception) couldn't have been more polite, friendly and helpful, they represent their place of work very well. When we got home and unwrapped the food we were pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes (in fact we couldn't eat all the chips) the fish was fresh very chunky and well cooked ( my wife worked in a chippy for more than a few years and commented on how well cooked her fish was).
Whenever we eat in Kettering again we will be going here. Very nice well done.

This place is a hidden gem on St Johns road. Their fish burger is by far the best one out of all the fish and chips shops I have tried. From the breaded cod to the wraps, everything we have ordered has been top notch both in flavour and quality. Nice big portions as well.highly recommended!
Good food, good prices, pleasant staff
Ordered online for the 1st time from Troy's. Telephone call from them to say the steak pie I ordered wasn't available but I was happy to substitute it with a steak n kidney. Also received a text to say order was running late by 10 mins, I appreciated being kept up to date. When my food arrived, the driver was apologetic but I assured him it was fine. My chicken salad was really tasty, maybe a few less onions next time? - and the pie n chips was enjoyed by my son. I thought it was really good value for money, easy to order online and contact from shop on status of order is great. I will certainly order from Troy's again next time I fancy a takeaway. 👍👍👍
We ordered via Just Eat for the first time last Friday and the food came quickly and was all round brilliant. Decent portion sizes and well packed so that cold things stayed cold and hot stayed hot, delivered with a smile. We ordered again yesterday and it was just the same 😊 highly recommend.
Absolutely love this place!! Been telling my hubby about this place and finally said okay let’s try it. We were so pleased with the service and food quality. The fish burger is the best I ever had and my hubby loved his monster burger! Will be ordering again from here :) thank you for the excellent service and yummy food.
