Change of management has been a refreshing change! New boss Christopher has brought new ideas in but still keeps the regulars happy. Drink prices still reasonable and staff friendly especially barmaid Tracey! New big outdoor TV in the beer garden is a good addition, even put the women's football on

Went in for a lovely breakfast. Food was hot and very tasty, and Gem gave some great customer service. Very friendly and helpful!
Presentation was beautiful. Guiness steak pie - was ok have had better pies , mash was alright - the crispy prawns i had for started were AMAZING would definitely go back just for those prawns!

Overall, this pub is average.
My two friends enjoyed their burgers but my mixed grill was dreadful. With the exception of the chicken, the rest of the dish was overcooked, very salty and dry.
The service was fantastic and if you visit Monday-Friday you get great deals.
Our bartender/waitress, Gem H., was incredible! So attentive and friendly. The food was amazing too, so all-in-all, a great idea to pop in for dinner! Happy customers. Recommend.
Great size, clean warm and very age friendly. Nice outside garden also family and children friendly. Service was very slow but pleasant staff. We tried the tapas and it was worth the wait.

Great outdoor space in the summer. If it rains and you still want to be outside there are little huts with tv to sit in. Staff are friendly. Plenty of sports to watch too.
Busy pub, so plenty of atmosphere. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Very good menu, reasonably priced and generous portions. Excellent range of ales.

The peacock has the most friendly staff ...the drinks are at a real reasonable price and food is good quality for the price and if you like a snack the pulled beef tacos are definitely value for money ....I highly recommend them
