I had the best time at The Pencil Museum! I would recommend to fill in the Quiz, so much fun looking for the answers. The shop is amazing too
This is a really cracking museum. It shares about the history of pencil-making in Keswick and how graphite was discovered. They have quizzes for children of various ages and adults too! They were running craft activities when we visited during the school holidays. However, on a wet, school holiday day there was a significant queue to get in (because everyone wants a good wet-weather activity!) Get here early, or be prepared to queue (note that tickets CANNOT be purchased in advance). The miniature pencil sculptures at the end were really awesome to see.
