After a day out in Cockermouth Ic and Flic decided we should eat out and they chose this Thai just three doors down from their accommodation. The three starters were yummy. The idiot who had calamari thinks it was amongst best ever. My hot soup was great as was Ic's Satay. Ic and Flic had the same excellemt samon dish as a main from the Chef's special. I had a beef and basil dish. All very good and washed down with pints of Singha.

Really nice authentic Thai restaurant with Halal options! Caring staff without being pushy. The food is awesome. I am really impressed with the freshness and taste of the meals. The soups and mains were really flavoursome and good portions. The ambience is refreshing, providing a cosy family atmosphere. Great to enjoy with your loved ones. Prices are also quite good. Highly recommend.

Really delicious food (great range of options, even for vegetarians). Considering there were only 3 staff on that we could see, the service was good. Also, the interior decor/design makes for a great atmosphere. Sticky rice and cashew nut stir fry were some definite highlights!

This is a great find. An awful lot of restaurants could learn from this place. It does the basics RIGHT A genuine, friendly welcome Great service. The food is beautifully presented but more importantly it is GOOD. Hot, tasty home cooked food with quality ingredients.

Foodwise, that might have been the best Thai restaurant I've been to so far. I had four courses and each of them was really nice (it doesn't happen often). Food full of flavour, not just spicy. But not only is the food so nice, the prices are low, too! For four courses and 2 drinks, the bill was only £35. They might work a little bit on cleanliness as the crockery wasn't quite immaculate, unfortunately, but well, they're not the only ones who struggle with this. Nevertheless, the food was very tasteful. Well done.

Visited on a wet Monday night in march so rather quiet as you would expect. However there was a very warm welcome and good service throughout the evening. Food was hot, tasty and very enjoyable. Good end to a day's walking. Would recommend

Surprisingly very good experience. Keswick in the evening gets really busy so the dining options are limited for 'no reservation' customers like myself. Visited around 6pm, no problem with a free table, staff very nice and accommodating. Had a prawn soup and ginger chicken stir fry with noodles. Big portion for me so couldnt even finish the main. I'd happily visit again as the food was good, reasonably priced and overall it was a good experience.

I had the Singapore noodles with tofu and green and yellow peppers. They're delicious, but very filling. The staff were very accommodating, answering queries we had about the food and making sure we had everything we needed. The prices were reasonable too, but no big surprise as we were outside of London. I'll be sure to come here if I visit Keswick again.

Superb!!! I’ve been to Thailand and have also eaten at quite a few Thai restaurants in UK (as it’s one of my favourite types of cuisine), BUT honestly can say Star of Siam one is one of the most authentic Thai taste experiences. The staff and management are awesome. Don’t miss this place, you won’t be disappointed! The Thai Drunken Noodles were amazing!!!!
