I randomly found this cafe whilst on holiday in the Lakes with my dog. We were greeted by friendly staff and Pedro was even offered a dog treat… that’s the dog, not me! Great food and we’ll be back here next time we’re near Keswick. Thank you 🙏

The staff were wonderful with a special thank-you to Emily for all her care in looking after us with a Special birthday tea. One of our party is Gluten Free and Cafe Hope proved to cater more than adequately for us on this very special day. Thank you.

Had a fantastic hot chocolate here. Just what we needed when sheltering from the heavily downpour and cold. Food coming out to other tables looked fab. Will definately visit again.

Couldn’t fault our visit to cafe hope. We arrived later in the day so there was no hot food but we were coming for tea and cake so it was all good. Service was excellent. The young chap that served us was very friendly, welcoming and confident. They have a wide variety of teas to choose from. My wife and ordered two different types of fruit teas (I can’t remember the name of them) which were very nice. Although, our 2nd cup was a little too strong as it brewed for too long. We also had a gold bar cookie pie and a white chocolate crispy slice. Both of which were tasty. The cafe is situated nicely. Close to the town centre but also next to the beautiful park where you have a pleasant walk. Excellent setting and well worth the visit.

Stopped in for a cup of tea, and decided to have a bacon sandwich as well. Very glad, as the bacon sandwich was excellent. Tea was excellent as well, and they also had a second pot of hot water for a top up 👍 Very well recommended 👍👍👍

We love this cafe, and always eat here when visiting Keswick, but the food and service can be a mixed bag, very much depending on the day. The drinks are always amazing. Food is ok, although it is expensive for what you get, you are paying for the location and atmosphere. They now do gluten free bread for sandwiches but the portion sizes are tiny, with the breadbun being half the size as a normal bun, and I had to ask for my brie to be melted as my bacon, brie sandwich it came cold. They are dog friendly, and you can buy extra treats for your pooches.

Fantastic service, our waitress was so friendly, enthusiastic and polite. (The one with reindeer horns). Oh and the food was amazing too! Absolutely loved my cheese scone with brie melted and the toasted sandwich was huge! Easily enough for 2 with a portion of chips.

Lovely stop after a long hike, the views over Hope park are an added bonus. Welcoming staff and a fairly good selection of treats (including doggie ones). We enjoyed mocha & cappuccino for hot drinks (plant based milks available and that was a thumbs up for us) and toasted tea cakes with jam as a sweet treat.

If you visit keswick be sure to take a walk past cafe hope and see the beautiful sights and scenery of the lake and it's huge colourful mountain scenery, especially when it's a glorious sunny day! Cafe hope does cater for all your needs such as a hot beverage or a cold drink if you desire in the heat of the sun. And don't forget to grab a tasty ice cream from the cabin attached to the cafe and if you need to spend a penny (free wee actually) then the loos are located at the rear of the cafe with more tables and chairs their should you need to rest a little, and yes there is a disabled toilet with changing facilities inside the disabled loo. The gardens are so colourful and beautiful to walk around with plenty of car parking from the lakeside car park that also have a few disabled parking. A must trip out for all the family as there are boat rides at a reasonable price and then there are the rowing variety if you want a more personalised wander out on the lake. Whatever you choose to do you will come back I can guarantee that.

Just had coffee and cake but the portion sizes were good, my suggestion is the offering to warm up the scone that I had would have made it perfect 👌

Visited for an afternoon tea as part of our Lake District honeymoon and weren’t disappointed. The Pods are a lovely setting, comfortable and such a treat. The afternoon tea itself was tasty with a great cake selection, couldn’t fault the service which was friendly and attentive. The card congratulating us was a nice touch too and much appreciated.
