My husband and I had paninis which were lush and my son had hot dog and crisps followed by the most amazing carrot cake ever. In June we had scones with a side of cheese and pickles which were absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend this sweet place.
This is a hidden gem of the Lake District. This is a lovely cafe with a car park (make sure you've got change). Free toilets. You have some really nice walks from here and you can eeven walk up Skiddaw from her..
If you just want a short you can walk up dod.. or just walk and want to see the osprey
Great little cafe. Good selection of hot and cold meals and cakes all well priced so dont be put off because of the location. Plenty of outside seating with the current social distancing. Will be stopping here when passing in the future.
Some good walks from here all marked out so good for all leve
Great tea room, toilets, lots of parking spaces, pay on exit £7 all day! Lots of walks from Dodd wood
This is a must visit!!! Super friendly staff, the best coffee for miles and don't get me started on the scones. Great fuel for the Dodd Trek before and after 🥰
Great little lunch spot after a walk. Homemade sausage roll and chutney Friendly staff.. thank you
Lovely and a much needed pit stop after a long day hiking. Gorgeous cakes.
Had some amazing tea and cake. Super friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
Lovely little spot. Good food delivered quickly. Portions generous. Toilets spotless. The car park is expensive but that because it is run by the forestry commission and pays for the upkeep of the walking trails so don't hold this against the cafe!
