Great shop with lots of nice food and drink (early in the day!) only problem is the prices are high as there is little competition and later in the day some of the shelves are a bit empty of bread, milk and fresh veg usually meaning we end up at the Co-op over the road.

I didn't know a supermarket could be this good! Great selection of all the things you'd normally expect from a supermarket, plus loads of local produce and products - buying local is clearly something that means a lot to them. The whole place is clean and stress-free to navigate, and the butcher and checkout operator were both really great.

Lovely shop. Got a pasty and some quiche from the deli counter then sat in the car to eat it. Views of Skiddaw are amazing.

Lovely Booths brunch, in their excellent cafe, then on to buy groceries for our week in Keswick. Really good quality food. Fabulous deli, fresh meat and fresh fish counters. They seem to stock everything you could need from any supermarket, and some special extras you don't get in most supermarkets. Would highly recommend.

This shop has an amazing and vast selection. We've come up for a few days from London, soooo much better than all of our stores combined!!

Excellent produce and nicely laid out supermarket with ample parking. The cafe serves beautiful food especially the big breakfast and very reasonably priced šŸ‘ PS I have used this store many times a year on regular holidays to the area since it opened in (I thinkšŸ¤”) the early 90s and never experienced any poor service or poor products.

Booths is a smart supermarket in Keswick, that is upmarket and expensive. It has high quality produce and a distinctive range of different goods. Booths has courteous, well-trained staff and oozes quality. It also has a large, popular cafƩ and a good selection of local books and products for gifts. You can reclaim your car parking at the checkout with a parking voucher.

Visited on Christmas Eve and, of course, v busy! Great approach of farm to family table, so a great selection of unusual produce .... like lakeland cheese with cranberries vs. usual wensleydale with same! Great they're supporting local culture and agriculture. Their pouring brandy creme produced in local diary was superb with our christmas pud! Loved they had Keswick plumb loaf on sale too, a real must as sandwich base for reward during lakeland walks. Definitely in the mould of Watrose, so I'm not surprised to hear they are developing a purchasing pact jointly. I look forward to visiting again outside the Christmas season to see their day to day offering ... I suspect I won't be disappointed.

Really nice selection of high quality goods. The one quibble is that the cafe close two hours early when we went on a Monday. You have to pay for parking - one hour for a pound or two hours for two pounds. You get a voucher that discounts the parking charge from your bill when you check out. Well presented on tempting counters and lots of fresh food. Best supermarket in the lakes.

Plenty of choice, in a well presented store. It's a little more expensive than Sainsbury's or "The big 5" but it's worth it. They cater very well for the market in Keswick, or at least for the holiday lets, with a range of readymade meals and quick to prepare food, as well as the weekly shop. Shame about having to pay to park but I suppose it's necessary.

I so wish we had Booths further south. The best supermarket chain in the UK. Great locally sourced food. Lots of unusual and rare brands of high quality food. One of my highlights when travelling North!

Although a little pricey the have lots of local produce and organic produce so worth the money also reimbursement of parking charges. I recommend a visit.. Oh and the coffee was nice in the cafe.

We used the cafe for coffee and scones/pastries. I was really impressed with the behaviours of the cafe staff, particularly how they put themselves out to help some of the older folk. The place is popular but reasonably priced, efficient and convenient for the catching buses to the hills.

Not very often I go, but as were on holiday first shop we called in to do a shop today got shopping what we needed, plus a great bottle of speyside malt whisky purely for healthy reasons, and it was reduced by 10 pounds. But a great shop and staff are lovely.
