This really is a good restaurant. Have visited here several times and never had a bad meal. My starter ( scotch egg) was packed with flavour and my steak was juicy and perfectly cooked. Chunky chips were totally gorgeous. The restaurant is on the pricy end but it is worth treating yourself.
The food is really great and highly recommended the chateaubriand. Only let down is the service. We expected more knowledgeable staff, and at times staff were oddly slightly rude or not well trained for finer dining.

We decided to book the steakhouse on the last day of our trip away and we were not disappointed! We both had the steak and it was some of the best steak we’ve had! Even the desserts were amazing! The staff were also super friendly which is a plus. Will definitely be back in future.

what a hidden gem! we came for a sunday lunch and so had the roast, I have to say coming from London and working in hospitality this was a huge surprise regarding both service and food. Everything 10/10. Highly recommended
