We found this lovely little tea shop last year and vowed to return and we have. Afternoon teas are a must and the friendly, helpful staff will box up any cakes that you can't manage for you. See you very soon 👍😃

Fantastic food I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, cooked to perfection and my wife had full Cumbrian breakfast which was also excellent

Lovely place for a cup of tea (in a proper china cup and saucer) and the caramel shortcake was delicious.

We don't visit Keswick often so weren't sure where to stop for lunch. We picked The Wild Strawberry at random and will definitely be going back! The toasties we had were incredible, and you get a lot for your money-- it's a good job we opted to just share a side of chips rather than one each 👍 I also loved the range of hot drinks on offer, there's plenty to choose from and the atmosphere is so relaxed. I could have stayed for hours!

Lovely cafe in Keswick Town centre. What I liked is that the cakes are not standard and there were different options. There were festive favourites in drinks including a gingerbread and cream latte. Not great for the waistline but lovely after a walk. We had hot chocolate, latte and cinnamon crumble flapjack which also had a mincemeat layer. Very Christmassy

Visited for afternoon tea on a busy Easter Saturday. Food was great with plenty of tea. The shining star was the service, all of the girls were so lovely and really made an effort even with it being so busy. Definitely recommend.

Pretty good cafe with good options. The special toasted hot cross bun was yummy and the tea very tasty. I had checked the menu on the website beforehand and the menus on the table had more expensive prices unfortunately

Had a lovely time here, inside was very cosy and welcoming. I had a sausage sandwich and my partner had the soup - both were tasty! The staff were nice and friendly, will definitley be coming again!

Absolutely brilliant place. We had an afternoon tea and it was the best we’ve ever had. Lovely sandwich (and crepe) selection, beautiful scones (traditional fruit, blackberry and cheese was an option for a diabetic), then the patisseries were out of this world. They are dog friendly and our toddlers were given a simple couple of sandwiches, Victoria sponge cup cake and a brownie. Tea selection was great to, with plenty other drink options to. Can’t recommend enough.

The food is delicious! I highly recommend for lunch & homemade cakes, in particular the Victoria sandwich, which was the nicest cake I’ve eaten in a long time! I went for lunch with my mum & we really enjoyed visiting. The only downside was the pop music that was being played inside. It was quite loud and not what you’d expect in a tearoom. We were sat near the serving area on a quiet Thursday afternoon and we found it hard to hear each other over the music.

Lovely creperie but not great for kids. Ordered the kids ham sandwich and the bread and ham were both too fancy so none of it was eaten. The cheese in the kids crepe was the same as the adults, which is mature... also not suitable for most kids. Staff were great though and timely. Good location.

Such a lovely place, so nice we ended up going for breakfast two days running. Wonderful fresh cakes, loads of cute breakfast options including the sausage sandwich I had on the first morning (Amazing) Then had the lemon and sugar crepe, and the other half had the bacon and maple syrup crepe, both of which are freshly cooked and utterly devine. The staff are so pleasant and friendly, making sure you know all options available. Plenty of seating, and good for wheelchair and pushchair access and of course like most of the lakes, dog friendly. I can imagine it does get busy, and booking is available, so I'd recommend doing that at the weekend where possible.

Lovely little cafe in Keswick, with a large selection of cakes and great atmosphere to enjoy an afternoon treat. We booked for the afternoon tea. It's elegantly displayed on the cake stand and looks stunning when it comes to the table. With lots of delicate little cakes made on site you certainly get a lot for your money. Some of it wasn't really to our taste but we tried a bit of everything. The sandwiches were creative and well thought out but could have done with a little less chutney or spread on each so you can savour the other flavours on the sandwich. The staff were friendly and attentive and overall enjoyed our experience.
