What a lovely find! We stopped here on our way through the Lake District and were blown away. Paid parking is just a short walk from the gardens and the cafe. Lovely to walk through the garden and sit out on the cafe terrace. The food was so fresh and delicious. Great Vegan/Vegetarian options. We ordered the gnocchi, mushroom Reuben and a side of chunky fries. All delicious! Well worth a stop if you are in the area. Tucked away on the other side of the lake from the town Keswick, so it feels a little more secluded and wasn’t too busy. Just be careful driving. Roads are small in parts.

Our first visit and we were not disappointed. I had steak open sandwich with fries and my wife had soup of the day and a portion of chunky chips. My steak sandwich was delicious coming with some very tasty salad and skinny fries. The soup was really good and the bread freshly baked. The chunky chips were great and very tasty. 10 out of 10 for the food! The place is dog friendly and we could sit inside or out with out Westie. We chose inside as it was a bit cold and all those with dogs kept them well behaved so there was no drama. The service was really good with friendly and pleasant staff and a nice atmosphere. It was starting to get busy by the time we left (around 12.30pm) and people were sitting outside. Highly recommended. We will definitely be going back.

This was our first visit and it will be a regular stop every time we come to the lakes from now on. The view from any table looks out onto the garden with Barrow Fell in the distance, the place is very clean and tidy. All the staff were very helpful, and didn't exaggerate when informing you about how good the food was. The menu is not extensive, but what they serve looks the business. We had the soup, served with a chunk of bread, and shared a portion of chunk chips with garlic mayo. They were all delicious, the chips were well cooked, soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. We shared a cheese then cream scone with jam. Both could win awards in my opinion, but the cream scone won. This was our best meal in our 9 day stay in the area, the prices are just right. £3.10 for a massive cheese scone..... Who can beat that!

Called here whilst out for a walk. A comfortable enough cafe with table service. A good choice of hot and cold food are available - the lunch menu is available 11am to 3pm, breakfast prior to that. Superb homemade cakes are available. We will call here again. Highly recommended.

It's a very cosy cafe with great food and delightful service ....the view from the cafe is pretty. It's just the kind of place one would love to take a break to relax and have brunch or lunch while strolling the Lingholm estate. The skylight offers warm sun's rays right into the dining space inside of the cafe.... The avocado toast deserves a special mention!..... the other items we ordered were the tiger prawn kedgeree, the potato leek soup, coffee, chocolate Brownie and biscoff.....each one was nicely done.... Lingholm kitchen offers an extensive range of gluten free and vegan options......this was our best meal in this area.....and its not even too expensive......highly recommended...

Amazing place!! The service was absolutely amazing, everyone we spoke to was so so kind and warm. The food is also incredible, especially the chunky chips which we both agree are maybe the best chips we have ever had in our lives. A few veggie options to choose from and we loved that we could buy a couple of yesterdays scones for £1! This is the best place for a cuppa and some food after a morning of walking up Catbells :) beautiful grounds too and no need for a car as the surrounding area is so beautiful to walk through!

Visited the Lingholm Kitchen twice in two days. The first as we walked from Keswick to Catbells and the second time we drove there. You do have to pay £5 for 3 hours parking but get £4 back when you buy stuff in the cafe. Very good service and quality of food. The rarebit with mushrooms was great and the cheese scone with chilli jam was probably the best I’ve ever had. Good cakes and coffee too 👌

It looks like everyone thought they'd better be early for Sunday lunch so there was quite a queue for a table but it wasn't long before there wasn't a queue. I had the garden pea and courgette risotto with a lemonade. It was lovely. It arrived quickly and the staff were friendly and appeared relaxed. A very good experience considering how busy it was!

Lovely setting with views across to Skiddaw. Scones were best I've had in decades! Slate floor while attractive makes for noisy background.

Lovely place to stop after a walk up Cat Bells. The walled garden is worth having a wander around too. Coffee, cheese scones and cakes were all delicious.
