We had a delightful stay at Chesford Grange Hotel. The family-friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities left a positive impression. Their breakfast was a highlight, and the rooms were clean and spacious. We opted to dine at a nearby pub, appreciating the hotel's furniture choices. Our stay at this hotel was a stark contrast to our previous disappointing experience at the so-called "luxury" spa, Champagne Springs in Leicester. Chesford Grange felt genuinely luxurious and enjoyable, making it a much more pleasant experience.

A beautiful and relaxing hotel, exceptionally clean, and a peaceful night’s stay - would strongly recommend again. We stayed at the Chesford Grange Hotel as it was accommodating a conference event we were taking part in. The rooms were very spacious and brilliantly designed (THANK YOU for USB chargers and wall sockets by the bed on both sides!), with very spacious and generous en-suites. Refreshingly, the TV was a straightforward free view TV, no bloated hotel software to struggle through, which was nice. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and had a good selection, and our experience through the hotel was that everything was working, very clean, and quite modern yet still with plenty of character. Thankfully, although the hotel has lots of event space and conferences etc, they are well separated from the guest rooms, so we were not disturbed at night / in the evening. Overall a great stay, and we can recommend both as guests and conference visitors!

My partner and I had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. I wish we'd caught the name of the lady at reception as she was so lovely and welcoming, made check in easy and was very helpful. We stayed in a family room which had plenty of space and was nice and clean. There was a lot of variety at breakfast. We used the pool facilities which were quite basic and small, but the pool water was lovely and warm. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Mum and I had a fantastic visit to the Chesford Grange Hotel. We had two rooms with connecting doors. Mine was a twin and Mum's was a double. I would recommend phoning the hotel directly to arrange this rather than hope that the third-party booking pass on the details. The rooms were clean and fresh with good views of the lawn. The shower pressure was excellent and the rooms were cleaned and freshened each morning. Mum had a swim and although the pool is not large, it was big enough to swim lengths. Overall we were really pleased with our visit and will visit again.

We enjoyed a night away here in a package with the spa, dinner and breakfast. Booking is very strict for a midweek booking to be charged to move it, I thought a bit rich. Dinner menu had just changed, was nice food but needed refinement (to match descriptions and flavours). Lovely service, wonderful spa, beautiful grounds, we needed more time. And a fridge in the room.

We stayed here as a part of my partner’s birthday trip. The location was very convenient, the room facilities are very good, bed was super comfortable, and nice bathroom facilities. The breakfast was tasty; lots of food and hot drink options. The team decorated our room with some balloons, left a birthday card and complimentary chocolate in our room which was a nice touch. However, there were some cobwebs in the corners of the room. That would be nice to have some garden sitting or walking area around the hotel. Bathrooms on the ground floor near the restaurant needs some attention as they look tired. Although we had a comfortable stay, I think it was slightly overpriced.

I booked a dinner, spa treatment & breakfast deal for my husband and myself for our wedding anniversary. I also added an afternoon tea as an extra. When we arrived, the reception staff were polite and helpful. We were told to go to the bar & ask about our afternoon tea. On speaking to the staff in the bar, it turned out that not only had we been left off the list for afternoon tea, but also left off the list for dinner when the restaurant was fully booked. Mark who was the bar/restaurant manager I think, was so apologetic. He managed to turn the whole situation around, he booked us in for an afternoon tea after our spa treatments at 4pm then he made sure we had space in the restaurant for dinner at 9, leaving enough time to allow our afternoon tea to digest a little! Not only that, but he offered us a free drink from the bar & some snacks to keep us going as we hadn't eaten all day. He also added a bottle of prosecco to our afternoon tea free of charge as it was our wedding anniversary. The way he handled the whole situation left us feeling cared for. I understand that mistakes happen & I'm just so pleased with the way he treated us. In the hands of someone else, it could have been a completely different scenario. The hotel is inviting, the rooms are quite nice, with curtains that block out all of the light, which I really appreciate. The spa doesn't have all of the bells & whistles other spas we've been to have, but the staff there are also delightful. All in all, this little trip was made all the better because of the customer service we received, so thank you so much once again to Mark, all of the spa staff and the bar staff too, who were also very pleasant. I witnessed one of the bar staff being really kind to a young boy who was asking him all the questions under the sun & his patience made me smile!

Beautiful country hotel and spa with excellent staff. We had a free upgrade to a dog friendly king size room ( room number 147), it was on the ground floor with a door out onto a very large grassed area, just perfect when you have a dog. We met some lovely people in the bar which is located in the older part of the hotel, there was a lovely ambience sitting in the comfy chairs looking out of the window. Lots of people around when we were there but no queues waiting to get served. Breakfast buffet was excellent as was an evening meal we had in the bar.

Large hotel with conference facilities. Situated in a quiet lane with good transport links to the M40. Food is good and the breakfast choice is extensive. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are well appointed.

Booked a 3 nights stay (couple + small dog) : great value for money! Nice big rooms and bathroom, good choice at the breakfast buffet, lovely meal at the restaurant (pricey but quite worth it) . Special note for the exceptional gym installations : loved it there ! No additional fee for a dog was well appreciated

Really nice hotel, excellent breakfast, good service. Rooms starting to look tired. Arrived to be told restaurant closed (would have been nice to have known beforehand), decided to eat in bar area, picked from menu only to be told that 6 (yes 6) items on menu unavailable. Too late to go anywhere else (especially after 4 hours travelling) only things available an expensive meat pie -Duly arrive -a small portion of mash- 3 carrots-a small pie that you really needed a hammer/chisel to get through the crust -definetly not freshly made. Went back to our room and ate some snacks we had brought. Rather detracted from the good points of this hotel.

Had a lovely 2 night stay, room was a good size with very comfortable beds, we slept well. Very clean. Spa was excellent, my wife had a treatment by Jaz, which she said was the best treatment she's ever had. Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice, we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as we wanted to explore the area, which has so much to see. I have read a few negative reviews for here but cant see why, we stay in hotels all over the country regularly, and put this in our top few. Also, I must mention the staff, all very professional, and extremely helpful. We will definitely be returning again. Thankyou.

Nice two night stay, used the gym & pool, didn’t bother with the spa treatments. Decent buffet breakfast. Only issue throughout our stay was the door keycard failed once, meaning a long trek back down to reception!

Nice place. Just want to say a big thank you to the restaurant manager Rieann and the friendly waitress Alysa. Both were great and an asset to the hotel. Good atmosphere and they gave it a very warm feeling. Thanks again.

Went there for a conference. Great facilities, rooms had everything that you require. The hotel rooms have been refurbished which was good to see what touches they have added to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Location is ideal as its off the M40 and easy to get to. Large car park for big events and cctv security for everyone's safety. They have spa, pool and gym facilities so that you can either relax or have a swim and also work out a sweat in their compact gym. Lunch on our arrival was nice and even catered for vegetarians as well so enough for everyone. Breakfast in the morning was a very nice indeed in nice surroundings of the breakfast River room. All in all a great stay and very nice staff. A place that I would definitely recommend.
