What a find. Fabulous fish fab chips. Friendly and welcoming staff. We sat outside, the family owned shop helped us so much and got the table and chairs out for us on a warm summer's evening.
I have to just say although my first review was awesome, second visit not so much, from different staff no eye contact, we asked to sit outside like before but we were denied! So had to sit in the car. So it depends on the staff who are on and we have no control over that! Keep smiling staff and eye contact is essential.
The lady is so polite and helpful. The chaos are also very efficient. The food was freshly cooked and lovely but stuck to the paper, which I found slightly irritating.
Otherwise great.

Went here for the first time last week after having a good swim at the local pool. We arrived about 6.45pm and the queue was snaking around the shop and out of the door! Always a good sign. We waited about 15 minutes in total due to the demand for food, but that meant that everything was freshly cooked. My friends went for the "mini cod and chips" - MINI??! We were so taken back by the size of the battered fish they had picked out that we thought they had mistaken the order! Amazing portion sizes at this place. I caught sight of the donner meat so I decided to go for that with chips and salad in a tray....again a HUGE portion and only £4.30! I really couldn't fault it, it was delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent fish and chips, it was delicious and the shop experience was even good too. The staff here are always pleasant and they don't get anything mixed up.

Went a couple of times subsequently. Always good food, but sometimes rather slow service. Took 15mins with only one person in the queue in front of me last time. Bit hit and miss, depending on which server you get

This is the best chippy in Kenilworth. The service is almost always prompt, and the menu has a wide enough selection for most to be accommodated. Batter is on the heavier side but delicious.
My meal was made fresh to order as it was close to closing time and it was a lovely fresh fish n chips, with a nice curry sauce, would recommend!

Still the best fish and chips ever. We used to live in School Lane but moved to another address in Kenilworth a couple of years later. We kept going back to School Lane fish and chip shop because we loved it so much. We have now moved out of Kenilworth entirely but if we want really good fish and chips, we make the 25 min drive and eat them in the car! Outstanding quality and superb service.
One of our favorite local chippies! Super friendly service and tasty food. Good portions served fresh and hot. Love taking our food over to Abby Fields for a picnic... Yeah makes for a great evening adventure!

An exceptional Fish and Chip Shop in this area, of a high standard. We enjoyed Fresh Cod, Chips and a Chicken Kebab. The portions are generous, the fish very fresh and very tasty. The batter a bit thicker than perfect, but very nice, the chips not too crispy, so just right for me. There is a short but courteous wait as the fish was cooked fresh, which, lets be honest, is fab. The kebab was nice too. Their Plaice looked enourmous, and the staff were all very pleasant. I will not get here too frequently, due to not being near but will be back.

My favourite chippy in the area. Nice staff and really decent food which is consistently good. All freshly cooked even late at night. Mini fish and chips is like a large portion and more than enough. Curry sauce always fresh and hot. Very clean place. Often a queue but worth it.
