Well what a hidden gem this place is. Good food, great selection of beer and drinks all backed up with really helpful staff. Went there for a special occasion and they really made it special, but will definitely be going back just for a regular treat.

While visiting our daughter in Coventry uni ,we had taken the dog so needed a dog friendly place to eat ,nothing in the city centre ,so went south to the picture postcard Kenilworth ,thatched cottages ,a castle , came upon the Clarendon arms ,received a warm welcome from the manageress/landlord ,was very well fed ( even the dog got a cake and a bowl of water ). Great place

Absolutely fantastic food was gorgeous service impeccable. Much better than the snooty place over the way. Can't wait to visit again. I've been in the service industry for 27 years and this place is tops!! Well done to all.

We booked rather late for Christmas lunch. They were really busy but they squeezed our table of 4 adults and 4 children in at 15:30. The service was at good, the staff were very accommodating to our fussy eating children and let them order from a combination of menus. My vegetarian Christmas meal was good, just right. The portion size of the Christmas lunch was HUGE but they let you take a doggy bag home. Puddings were VERY good, the ginger pannecotta in particular was delicious. I was very impressed that the children didn’t have to have a full Christmas meal. Often food gets wasted then. All in all a good experience!

We had the pleasure of experiencing Clarendon's Christmas lunch! Our team of 38 attended this afternoon, we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The service was outstanding thoroughout, the staff were approachable and friendly, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend, they coordinate large bookings extremely well. Thank you for the little extra touches to make today festive! We wish all the staff at Clarendon's a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year

Great food and really good staff, the lad I was with was a right T***er though but hey the pub couldn't be at fault for that. Would recommend to anyone (apart from the t***er)

Good food, especially the steaks. The best larger in Warwickshire sharps pilsner. 10/10.

First time I’ve been in for quite a while but thoroughly enjoyed both the lunch and the Butty Bach! Service was good, liked the decoration job and look forward to continuing to reacquaint myself with this lovely pub.

We visited this afternoon after a trip to the castle. It was mere two minute walk away and we were not disappointed. Freshly cooked food and amazing service from Richard! The portion sizes were good and it was good value for money. We will definitely be back!

Came for an early dinner on a Saturday, very quiet which was surprising. Food reasonably priced, decent portions. Dog friendly.

Been several times over the last few months and it is easily one of the best places to eat in Kenilworth. Been for sunday lunch several times (their veggie roast is one of the best I have ever had!) And for normal food and it never disappoints. All the staff are so friendly, great at what they do and make you feel really well cared for and welcome. The price is such incredible value and portion sizes are generous. Never had a bad meal there and doubt I ever will. Thank you for all you do! If you're thinking about going, definitely do, its just the best! Hats off to the landlord and landlady for running an incredible pub!

Went for a family meal, having been recommended by locals. We were not disappointed. Car parking is £2.50, but that is the only drawback. Quality food, good menu, great staff, and at a reasonable price. Standards and cleanliness are good and can highly recommend. I will be back when next in Town.

What a great little pub with fantastic food. Came here two nights in a row whilst working away from home (London) and was made to feel very welcome even after spilling my cider after two sips and it was refilled before I had time to apologise Great value for money and with a happy hour on drinks you can’t go wrong the food was fantastic (best onion rings I’ve ever tasted)definitely worth a visit

Check this pub out, it’s around the corner from the queen & castle pub, which is opposite Kenilworth castle… This is a dog friendly pub! It isn’t over priced for food or drinks. The bar man who served us at lunch time (03/04/23) was very accommodating and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. (On the day we visited they stopped serving food at 2pm, although the menu said 3pm? Kenilworth is a stunning town, if you’re there to visit the castle… we recommend refreshments at the Clarendon then a walk through park and around the town. There are a lot of different buildings to admire. If you do visit the castle, it’s worth knowing it’s a public footpath that goes around the castle. If you wish to pay to go in, you must purchase tickets at the visitor centre prior to entering the castle grounds. Robert Dudley, was the 1st Earl of Leicester, KG, PC (24 June 1532 – 4 September 1588) was an English statesman and the favourite of Elizabeth I from her accession until his death. This is our 2nd visit. #Walkswithbuddy #Roobysvillagetour #Buddyfriendlypubs Definitely a rovers return.
