We stayed overnight in one of the apartments and it was a great experience. The apparent was very unique and had some great features. It had everything you needed except a hair dryer. But I am sure there would have been one available if really needed.

Called in for an evening meal, we hadn't booked a table but was shown to a table for two I had the dirty burger ( beef ) that came with chunky chips and it was delicious.
Service was very good.
Very reasonably priced, will definitely be going back when we're in Kendal.
lovely place for dinner! tried the cod with lobster bisque, and the fish + chips - both great. cocktails were also generous and yummy.

We were away for a very rare child free weekend and stayed up the road. We were going to eat dinner at the hotel, but I had a Google for eating establishments around the area and found this gem!

The outdoor kids area is great. Most of it is covered to protect from the sun and rain. All the food we had was amazing at a really fair price. The beef cheeks were top notch. Service was great, really friendly ladies.
You might be surprised as you enter the front of Romneys, as inside it's very nicely laid out and light, with interesting decor. This includes a glass floor over the wine cellar. The staff were extremely efficient and pleasant. The menu was varied, and portions were good. Hearty food, so good after
