stayed in Kendal for family gathering so decided to eat at pizza express,the staff really friendly at gave the kids pens pencils and paper to play with when seated,there was a group of 10 of us and we all enjoyed our food,not too expensive either,will visit again if in the area,

Vegan sloppy pizza is really worth trying. It was perfectly seasoned and crispy. Veg penne pasta in red sauce was okayish.
We booked for our son to have his birthday pizza party here hosted by the manager Frank. There were 11 boys in total and the manager Frank and all the staff were AMAZING in helping to interact and engage with each of the children. They were so friendly and helpful and the food was superb. We all had a great time and I will definitely be recommending this as a place to host a party in the future. Thanks to everyone, especially Frank and Lizzie.
This our favourite place. The prices are great. Even more so with the loyalty programme. The food is just, beautiful.
On this visit we had the opportunity of meeting the larger than life manager who was amazing and our server Alex was fabulous also. The manager treated us very generously as a new years gift.
There's not much more to say. We travel 70+ miles a few times a month just for this place, food and staff! We've done this for well over a year. If that's not an endorsement I don't know what is!!!
Popped in for an evening meal while staying nearby. Wife and I went for a couple of pizzas from the Romana base menu, kids had the kids menu. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Service was great. My wife downloaded the app while we were there and got a free portion of doughballs.
Having been turned away the two previous nights as they had been too busy, we were lucky to get a table for two tonight and had a lovely meal with outstanding service. The food and wine were really nice but our waitress, Emily, was exceptional. Recommend booking!
Always a great dining experience. I often go with family. Sis, mum and 3 nieces. The service is great, food delicious and atmosphere good too!
Great place with kids as well. Staff is very friendly. The pizza was delicious, only thing I could complain is that it was bit pricey but I still want to give 5 star since the pizza was very good. (If you liked my review please give me a like, thank you.)
Service by a young girl was outstanding. Manager asked if we wanted anything,I needed some dip, he said be right back but he never returned... so no dip 😕. Lots of crying screaming kids. I know we are supposed to just accept this but it does completely ruin the evening and when spending upwards of 200 quid you do want to be able to relax at 8pm
Ordered a home delivery, duo romana, calamari, chicken, halloumi, honey balls.. they were all delicious. Full of flavour. The dips and sauces are fresh and very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
First meal out/inside since the latest lockdown lift and Pizza Express was NEEDED. Food was perfect 👌🏻 the halloumi bites with romesco sauce which are NEW to the menu are great!
Came in without a booking and were accommodated right away on Christmas Eve of all days. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were attentive and full of Christmas cheer. Food was delicious
We popped in with our 11 month year old and the service couldn’t have been better. Frank and the team made sure we had everything and Jesse helped with food and drink for the wee man. Really positive experience.
Nice staff with top manager Lizzie, they working hard and realy doing evertyhing what they can best. Next time I wish eat havaiana with pinnaple
Always a great meal out with friends. We use the Pizza Express App to benefit from all the different deals they offer. It's great value for money.
Placed a collection order and within half an hour was picking it up. Friendly staff on arrival and food was really nice. Would recommend!

Absolutely faultless
Emma, well where do I start. Instant welcome when you enter the restaurant. Quick to take your orders but also not pushy and gives you time. Only waitress on today but still continued to make us feel important. As soon as we ordered she straight aware made us aware of the app which saved us £11ish so that was fab.
Ordered our food and we had dough balls to share then we both had a American classic and wow, the flavour, taste, freshness was on point. Told Emma to make the female chef aware it was the best food in a pizza express we had ever been to!
Then towards the end of us finishing our mains I think the manager came onto the floor (think was doing interviews or something) and straight away was on board to help Emma out as started to get a bit busier.
Throughout all of this Emma stayed calm and collected, no stress, friendly and welcoming and just overall a lovely person!
She is an asset to your team, same as the chef you had on today!
Best food and atmosphereI have ever had in a pizza express before and the food was exceptional. Even writing this I don't feel is enough of a praise to how good our experience was!
Thank you, we will be back for sure, hopefully next time our little girl will be able to share some pizza with us!
