What can I say about this great place never met two more nicer and passionate owners. I go here at least once a week and it's fair to say I've tried almost everything on the menu and never ever had a bad meal yet. I had my works Christmas due here back in December for 20 people and truly well looked after with fantastic friendly staff. If you like a great curry and reasonably priced this really is the best place in Kendal to go!
Had a fantastic meal at the Eastern Balti Kendal last night, food was excellent and the staff were really friendly, been there a few times and can't praise it enough, will definitely be back again.

Had a meal tonight with 6 other boys from work and we all agreed it was 1st class. Couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall.....great food and really friendly and welcoming staff.

Staying in Motorhome at Kendal Cricket Club, so we ordered so.e food to be collected. Food ready on time, more importantly, the food was extremely tasty. We ordered a variety of dishes and sides. Everything was spot on. Great takeaway.

I have been in Kendal since 2018 I normally use a different restaurant for Indian food. Just tried this place by chance and wow 10% discount for cash collection. I just called them after finishing my food, think he thought I was going to moan. I actually called to say how nice there food was. So if you are looking for authentic Indian food this gets a 10 from Len or me on this occasion a++

Best place for indian food. Vegetarian food was excellent. Its exactly the way it tasted back in India. Spicy and oily and masaledaar. We took a takeaway for 8 people and had a lot left over.. So much was proportion. Loved the food. Non veg cocktail, chicken biriyani, veg biriyani, veg fried rice mixed veg curry and mushroom bhaji. All were 😋 yummy.

Ordered food very late not far from closing due to being out of the area for work. Food was fresh and amazing as always. Top notch place and lovely staff. 10/10
Four of us dined there in October and all I can is that is one if the best meals we have ever had. We all had different curries and anyones was perfect, to top it of the waitress was lovely and very helpful. We will definitely be going again next time we visit Kendal.

A jewel in the Lake District. The food here puts a lot of london indian restaurants to shame. Chicken tikka rajasthani was excellent , all the food fresh and tasted of individual spices. And absolutely lovely nephew and uncle team running it. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Cosy restaurant, delicious food and really popular place. Lovely mocktails! Such a dedicated owner who works so hard, wish the business the best in the future and will visit next time we visit the areas!
This Restaurant an amazing find on a Monday Night in Kendal. Front of house team Scottish lady and young Indian Gentlemen great welcome attentive and not intrusive thank you, The food from the kitchen .absolutely excellent full of flavour served hot on hot plates and excellent portion size thank you when we visited the restaurant was awaiting confirmation of its license so we only had a choice of Soft drinks , Amazing Mocktails didn’t miss the beer or the wine . The food speaks for its self .

Ordered over the phone they said 30 minutes I arrived to collect it was ready on time.
Nice welcoming staff.
Clean and welcoming restaurant.
Food was hot very nice and lots of it.
Didn't like the chips they where hard as if they needed a few more minutes cooking.
The special fryed rice was the best rice I have ever had very tasty.
Would definitely recommend and use again if in the area.
