Farmhouse Kitchen - Kendal - Photo album

A lunch time spot that we took a chance on, no regrets at all, a pleasant welcome, the atmosphere is cosy and it is also dog friendly. A varied selection on the menu which would please most people. Food cooked fresh to order without a ridiculous wait, we ordered the giant Yorkshire pudding with saus
Food absolutely first rate. Pity they don’t open late (close at 5pm). Great service, great food. Loved the cheesy tuna melt jacket spud, side salad so fresh n tasty. Had an excellent accompanying English Breakfast Tea, extensive choice of coffees and specialty teas. Highy recommended.
5 stars for everything. It was all great! The service, the food and the atmosphere. Loved having a quiet lunch here.
Really good food. Really lovely staff. Great location It was really busy but we were well looked after and the food arrived in reasonable time.
We stopped in for a late brunch and it was unreal. Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious and fresh. Waited quite a while for our drinks but can't really complain as it was busy and rightfully so! I honestly think it was the best hot chocolate I've ever had (and it was vegan!) thank you ver
Fantastic selection of foods on the menu, something for everyone, a quaint cafe style atmosphere, which can get quite busy at times, which is not surprising due to the great flood and drink on offer!.. Not had chance to try many things on the menu, but enjoyed the eggs Benedict & Chorizo hash amongs
Dog friendly! We had a lovely meal (Biscoff and banana waffle, the apple pie porridge and sourdough toast). Good value for money, lovely place and friendly staff. Would recommend :)
Seating arrangements were a little inconvenient. Food and service good.

We had a baked potato with tuna and cheese, chicken schnitzel burger and halloumi fries with an oreo shake. All of which were delicious. The decor is really inviting and the staff are friendly. The wait for the food was a bit long, but worth it.
A hidden gem in the Lake District! Warm atmosphere, delectable dishes, and a team that goes above and beyond. A must-visit!
Really good food, plenty of veggi and vegan options plus the usual meaty choices burgers, wraps, scampi etc. coffee is delicious!
Friendly service. Portion size is good. Flavourful food. Dig friendly.
Hands down the best breakfast I've had in a long time! We came here with our dog as the other was at the vets for scans and needed to be near by. Loki was very welcomed by the gentleman working and even had his own puppachino! My husband and I ordered breakfast and it was 100% the best we've had. Ve
Haven't even left yet, wish I found this sooner! 5 or 6 different options for eggs benedicts, waffles, pancakes, sweet and savoury, great coffees, all taste amazing. 100% recommend.
Best vegan breakfast I've ever eaten. Just lovely all around, like a rainbow on my plate. It was nice eating scrambled tofu, when usually the egg replacement in a vegan breakfast is empty space on a plate. Portion size for the cost was great, atmosphere chill and service lovely!
Great spot! Excellent veggie/vegan options.
