Visited for a family evening meal. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The quality food was well presented and cooked to perfection. The best Pub food I have ever been served. Definitely going to revisit. Thank you to all the staff for ensuring that we enjoyed a memorable evening.

Great rooms, lovely pub, breakfast fab and staff really friendly and helpful. Astoria and Andy the loveliest staff! Walks from here - spectacular. We will return.
The manager was very nice and friendly. Decent beers and choice of food. Rooms decent for the price. Breakfast tasty and filling. Great country type pub that I'd visit again.
We just popped in for some food on a rainy day, we were warmly greeted with a rustic pub, friendly staff and a wood burning fireplace. The food was lovely and came quickly and it was very peaceful.
We ate here on a Saturday night and booked in advance. A lovely dog friendly pub which serves tasty food. Highly recommend the Cumberland Sausage and Mash. Great childrens menu.
Andy was a complete gent and allowed us to cancel our booking due to the severe snow. He was really kind and polite and restored our faith in humanity! We will return, probably in Summer though!

We had sunday lunch which was absolutely amazing everything on the plate was very tasty and perfectly cooked .....
Great locals pub which although part of a chain doesnโ€™t feel like it. Staff were friendly, helpful and seemed like a happy team. Fresh milk for tea/coffee instead of UHT was a nice touch & the shower was excellent Goodfod & beer / wine
This place has to be one of THE best for a quality and value Sunday lunch. The roast beef is sensational.
A village pub tucked away in a quite remote hamlet, it goes to show that if you're good you'll have customers. We went for a Sunday lunch, we were put in the conservatory which felt a bit bland and would have preferred the main pub area (divided into various areas) but obviously we were at the tail
