Great pub/restaurant went there for a family birthday meal. Very good service and good value. The food was excellent I have to say highly recommend.
Enjoyed a well cooked and served gammon fried egg and skin-on chips here on a Wednesday night. Service was very polite and friendly. Restaurant was mostly empty. Decor was good and clean, good choice of beers, lagers and ciders on tap.

Being a Sunday, we struggled to find somewhere to eat as everywhere needed bookings. This place was our 3rd attempt & what a lovely surprise & so glad we went.
The food was delicious & our service was exceptional. We had starters & 2x Roast dinners, the best we've had anywhere by far.

We passed this pub by accident the other day, so on Saturday we came deliberately. We arrived a bit late for lunch but the staff were accommodating & we had a lovely meal of fish & chips & beef pie. Both meals were very tasty. The wine was very nice and the pub had a good atmosphere. I'm looking
I visited The Angel recently for the first time with some work colleagues and all of our meals were superb. Nice and freshly made and the best chips I’ve had in a long time. The cookie dough dessert is pretty sizeable so save some room if you’re going for that!
Stumble across this beautiful pub for a drink and decided to go back today for another and a quick bite. Well we weren’t disappointed the food was amazing and the attention to detail in presentation was outstanding, every mouthful was a taste explosion.

Went here on a Friday night everything was excellent the only reason service was given 4 was because it was so busy and only 2 members of staff serving. Saying that, they were still very attentive. Food was great. The atmosphere was like a village local. Smiles, laughter, and good cheer.
