Fabulous what has been done with the pub, so much bigger & amazing beer garden! Same high quality roast dinners found at other Brunning & Price pubs, and great staff. So happy I just by chance checked to see if it had re-opened yet! Made for a wonderful Sunday sat in the sun with lovely food watching the kids play safely... and not forgetting all the pooches as the place is super dog friendly x
Had a meal to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very attentive even though it was very busy and the meal was delicious. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection. First time visited since it has reopened but it won't be the last. Well done to all the team
I had my sons 16th birthday on the 10th June. We booked the private dinning room. It was a perfect room for me and my family to celebrate. The food was excellent. The service was fab. We was treated so well. My family loved it so much that they have all booked to go again. Thoroughly enjoyed by all. It’s a definatley 10/10 ���
Attended 2 test sessions prior to opening. One in the evening, the other mid-day. The exterior has extensive planting with a riot of colour. There is a massive garden/seating area and a glorious wisteria. I have observed from nearby, the gutting and total re-design of the interior. It looks great and has a cosier feel than a lot of ‘designer ‘ restaurants these days.
There was a bit of a service issue with my second trial meal but hopefully, having reported back, that will be rectified. The food was excellent on both ocassions.
Good to have another pub/restaurant near Tarvin. It’ll keep others on their toes!😃

The refurb is lovely internally and the beer garden looks brilliant. Food was quality, tasty, well presented and service was good (even on a busy rehearsal night). A little bit of background music would improve the ambience and then I'd give you 6 stars, lol!! Great transformation and I wish the B&P team all the best. Thanks.
Really impressed, the Morris Dancer looks great, both inside & out, with good quality food, good sized portions & friendly staff. We had an enjoyable evening, definitely going again.

Haven’t been here for years, the place is unrecognisable, love the interior and the garden is just lovely. We had great food, friendly service and will definitely be back.

Lovely lunch in great surroundings, the food was delicious particularly the lamb and portion good, the sea bass was small and not very substantial but tasty. Good selection of puddings making it hard to choose!
The staff are friendly but not over the top- just right.

An amazing selection of good for a restaurant in a small town. I expect it is a local destination itself. I was one of a group of five on a busy Friday night. The staff were clearly stretched by extra people but they were also used to being busy and were still friendly and helpful.
We each had different main dishes - the selection was large and we each enjoyed what we received. I would happily eat here again, and recommend it to my friends.
Lovely food and surroundings. Staff were lovely too. Very pretty garden. A little pricey but worth it. Overall great pub, would definitely go again.

We come up from London and visit our friends locally who live within a 10 minute walk.
The staff are friendly, they have a great outdoors area with lots of room for kids to run around and the food and drinks are amazing.
We will be back when we next visit!
Live in Manchester, first time here, would def recommend. Met by all staff with a smile. Great atmosphere. Lots of outside seating with beautiful views. Going up the stairs to the toilets felt as tho you were in an upmarket hotel! Mens (hubby told me! ) & Womens were pristine. Lovely experience
Second visit here, consistently good. Fantastic service, very welcoming and beautifully decorated for Christmas. I had venison pie which was stunningly good. Can't wait to return!
Called in for lunch. Glorious weather for sitting outside on beautiful terrace area overlooking lawns. Excellent food and service as always with B&P pubs. Will definitely be back again.
Lovely pub and food was excellent. We received vouchers for £12 off a meal but you have to collect 6 of them and can only be used on Mondays - Thursdays and no Bank holidays. Not such a good deal when you read the small print.
Wow , our meal was incredible 😍 we where a family if 4. If you want to experience good quality food this place is a definite must even the waiting time was brilliant , you didnt have to wait a while neither.... Staff where lovely and very friendly. ❤️

What a delightful place to have a drink or a bite to eat. I was here for a few hours on a Thursday evening and was astonished to find how big this pub was. And it was extremely busy, which is a great sign. Despite this, there was hardly a wait at the bar and the staff were very attentive. I found myself a nice little table in the bar area and ordered a "light bite" steak sandwich which was delicious! Plenty of steak and very juicy and pink. Perfect! One particular staff member was extremely helpful, Nicola, she checked on me regularly but not constantly, which was appreciated as I was working. I also overheard her with the table next to me and she was just an extremely happy and helpful delight. Nothing was too much. Thank you Nicola for your excellent service! Would definitely recommend to go here and will definitely be coming back. Oh and a little treat of a flapjack was a sweet surprise to enjoy!
Was advised to go here by a lady at Morleys garden centre as did not know the area. Great place. Full English breakfast was really good. Well cooked and not greasy. Pot of tea yesss. Friend had the full English veggie version which she said was best she had had. Pleasant attentive staff. Very clean. Able to sit on the terrace, just idyllic. Will certainly visit if in the area again. Highly recommend.

100% love this pub this is the second time I have been to this pub and it has lovely delicious food and has lovely beverages and starters would 100% come here again. Also one of th best pubs I have been too

Popped in with wife and aunty for lunch today with little pooch in tow .
Went with a recommendation from friends and am delighted to find the food , ambiance and service was impeccable from first minute to when we walked out .
My meal was the fillet steak which along with dessert and coffee afterwards were the best meal I’ve had for very long time .
Well done to all involved especially Narin who looked after us like family
We had a great lunch for a family get together Sunday 30th April, the service was welcoming and atttentive right throughout our stay, staff were great, drinks were served quickly, food was fantastic too, we had a range of dishes from the menu and everyone complimented how nice they all were. Sunday lunch was especially nice, lovely pink beef and great sides. Great service and atmosphere. Thanks Team Morris.
