I went to the carrie last night for the early bird menu and it was lovely great selection and the portion sizes were great. Only thing I would suggest is maybe serving a small selection of veg with the meals. I would definitely recommend it and I will be back again.
This was our 1st time at the Carrie.
It is such a lovely wee place, feels so homely, with the big fire in the centre of the room.
The food was delicious, and great value for money, 2 courses for the price of your main. I had Caesar salad,
I then had chicken and chorizo penne with garlic bread, my boyfriend had salted chilli chicken, then fish and chips...
The staff were lovely girls too.
Will definitely be recommending it and will definitely be back!!

Had a bad experience last year but was hearing good reviews lately, so decided to try again.
Have to say what a difference a chef makes. Great food, great price and a lovely server. Highly recommend, wont be waiting a year to go back
Visited yesterday with my father for lunch, place is beutiful and the waitress was very good. I ordered battered haddock ,my father had chicken goujons. It was very good lunch ,really enjoyed will definatly be back and recommend to anyone �

This is a little jewel tucked away on the outskirts of Kells village. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely early bird meal here this evening. The delightful staff in attendance couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed first class service afforded to us by first class staff. Our first visit but certainly not our last.

Absolutely brilliant place to eat, food was fab and service was fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much bother, they were great with the kids too. First time there and we'll definitely be back!

I had my first visit to the Carrie last night and it certainly won't be my last! There were 14 of us in, everything was perfect. The food was beautiful and the staff were great. I can't wait for my next visit!

Beautiful gluten free food. Looks amazing and tastes amazing.
Friendly and helpful staff. No rushing the order when sorting out what was gluten free to eat. To start, goats cheese with beetroot, then honey chilli chicken with rice, and to finish hot chocolate cake.

Cannot fault the home cooked food with locally sourced ingredients. The staff are so friendly and helpful you cannot help but smile. Would really recommend The Carrie Restaurant if you want to be treated to good food in a beautiful setting. Couldn't resist adding photos of two of the desserts on offer.
My dad's first experience in the Carrie and he lives in the Isle of man, all three courses he loved,and the girls went all out put candles in dessert to celebrate his birthday 100% attentive even though they where full house ,service 100% ever time we have a meal 🥂🍾😍
