The Fox Inn - Kelham - Photo album

Always driven past here when I work around the country and tonight realised I was staying just around the corner so I thought I would give it a go. The staff are very pleasant, it was a warm welcome the food was absolutely lovely I had brie to start and then the fox inn Burger for mains. Everything
Great pub, we stayed overnight in our campervan van, which wasn't a problem at all. The staff were excellent and service second to none. The two girls behind the bar were very efficient and friendly. We also had an excellent meal, the belly pork was beautiful. Will definitely be going back.
Called in for lunch and chose the meaty sharing platter. Everything was well cooked and very tasty. However, we found the selection of accompanying dips bizzare. Guacamole, salsa and soured cream is fine with nachos but with chips, sausages, wings, duck rolls etc ??? we should have had dips that com
Great location! We had a very nice time in this inn and had a delicious meal. While paying at the bar we had a very nice conversation with the lady behind the counter. We wish the pub all the best and would be happy to come back next time we visit England. Best regards from Katrin and Uwe from G
Great food (Steak and Ale pie delicious) and 2 of my favourite beers, Timothy Taylors Landlord & Old Speckled Hen, on draught! Friendly staff, huge car park, lovely village just outside Newark. What's not to like!
Food was absolutely beautiful. Very fast coming out as we pre ordered for a big group. Kids meals were big portions too !
The only reason I couldn't give 5 for atmosphere is we were there when the surrounding area was flooded, and therefore a lack of clientele. However, top marks for friendly people, the food and the value was good, we had dinner here. Would definitely go back.
Me and my partner always drive past here and say we will go in but never did. Today we decided to and had a beautiful roast dinner. We both had the pork dinners. Portions look small but it’s deceiving as everything is hidden under the massive, delicious yorkshire pudding. We were quick to get served
We parked our Motor home in the car park over night in return we agreed to eat in the pub and we weren’t disappointed. The menu offered all the pub favourites plus a few specials. I chose the Gammon steak which was huge. It came with egg, chips, pineapple, mushroom, onion rings, salad and I ordered
First time visiting today . We visited as my sister in law was visiting from London and we were dropping her off at Newark train station. We were a bit dubious to start with as there were no cars in car park. We ordered sausage and mash , homemade lasagna and hunters chicken . The food was absolutel
Good value for money, I would say the kids option is limited it’s as it comes ,which with kids that are fussy with food is a pain. But the food was very good, it was my first time here for food and I will certainly be coming back. The pub is divide into many different areas which works well Ideal fo
Probably the best Sunday dinner I've ever had eating out. If I had to be picky, I'd say the roasts went done enough, but they were still nice, and the Yorkshire pudding & gravy was tip top. Thank you very much.
Love this place. Loved it as a bar. Loved it a place of solace. Now a wedding venue with the central courtyard roofed over as a warm wedding venue. Couples can even be wedded there ,as opposed to just wedding reception venue. Recommended. Lovely beers as well.
Stopped halfway from Newcastle under Lyme to Skegness for lunch. Lovely pub full of character. Friendly staff, great service, plenty of amenities inc free parking/ outdoor children’s play area and outdoor food. Food arrived quickly tasted delicious and not overpriced. Well recommended
Superb overnight stop in out Motorhome. Food was awesome and all amenities available. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be back! There should, however, be a health warning for the sharing meat platter - oh my goodness! Couldn’t finish it even though it was so yummy!😊
Popped in whilst the daughter had a 'do' down the road for a cheeky pint and a burger. - service, excellent. very polite young ladies. attentive, working with purpose. Good stuff - atmosphere. could be tidied up here and there, but ticks the "local pub with food" box. the raised dining area wa
Quality food at very reasonable prices.
The chicken Sunday meal was faultless, I would have paid double it was that tasty, hot and delicious. My wife had the pork Sunday meal , she couldn’t fault it, absolutely delicious we couldn’t eat all of it.
Great pub didn't get chance to try the food as they had stopped serving. Friendly staff great outdoor seating area, dog friendly children's play area. Will call Again and hopefully try the food.
