I've made 3 visits to Square Roots in the last couple of weeks. The staff are very polite and friendly making sure you have everything you need. The food is spot on, today's fish and chips was the best I have tasted for a while, and the lattes are amazing. I'll definitely be making a fourth visit!

Came here on recommendation from a friend in Elgin. I wish this place was in Elgin! Food was fab, and the staff were friendly. Tall gentleman made sure I had everything I need as I've awkward dietary requirements and he was very funny !! :) Didn't have a tip (as I paid by card) so I promised I would leave a review. I will be back.

Visited today with mum and my sister we all had the festive panini (yum) and who can say no to lemon cheesecake (ace). Coffee was excellent. The free entertainment was a case of only in Keith lol. Will definitely be back!

Staff couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Food was lovely and a good varied choice with reasonable prices. I don’t drink tea or coffee so nice to see some different (and local) juices out with the ordinary coke, lemonade etc. Hopefully you’ll add a chai latte to the menu sometime. Great addition to Keith and Mid Street

Well liked this place we did. Service was fantastic, and the food delightful 😊 old Queen Vic post box on wall outside. Plenty O parking in the Reidhaven square.

This was such a cute little place, friendly staff and really good food! The pesto chicken sandwich was really good, great chips. The sticky toffee pudding was epic!! They played American Country music as well and made me feel much at home.

The staff here were friendly, polite and helpful. I ordered a full breakfast on the recommendation of the waitress, it proved to be a wise choice, it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, including my requested crispy bacon, and served on a large rectangular plate. I came very close to licking the plate clean, it was so tasty. Situated 30 yds from an EV charge point, I was able to top-up my car while I topped-up myself. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Nice fresh food , service was slow but it was very busy. Staff nice and friendly. It was really noisy but I guess that's because the cafe was full.

From entering the cafe, we were welcomed by a happy lassie who was also professional. The food was so good I cleaned my plate. Coffee was excellent and all at a reasonable price, good work folks. Keep it up

Nice little cafe, food was delicious and I enjoyed the experience. The prices were reasonable and the food was prepared from scratch which is always nice. The decor is beautiful and modern with a rustic feel. The waitresses were very friendly and it was nice and cozy. There was a slight draft of cold from the door but nothing too bad. The tables felt small and a bit cramped to me but that is probably due to the size of the cafe as a whole.

Cute wee place with good food and great cakes! The carrot cake is most excellent, and has avoided being over mixed like many places so is absolutely lovely.

I only went in for take out food but the staff were very pleasant and the cakes looked fabulous. I managed to resist and had the soup of the day and a cheese and bacon scone. Both tasted delicious. The soup was piping hot and a generous portion. All in all good value and a place to recommend

Stopped in here after a walk to Tarnash falls. Cullen skink and a chicken mayo roll for £8ish, well worth it. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed in spite of it being pretty busy. A great wee place.

Nice little homely type cafe, accessible with room between the tables for getting through as well. There is also limited seating outside. The coffee was lovely and the food surpassed what we had anticipated. The portions were reasonable as well. We did not use the toilet facilities so cannot comment on them. The service was very good, the waitress ensured we were catered to as needed. The reason for 4 and not t stars was the wait we had, which for me, on a hard seat without sufficient padding, became particularly painful as the wait lengthened. I had to take extra pain killers because of it. Otherwise, a highly recommended cafe, and one I would like to visit again, but I shall book the food in advance and take my own cushion next time.

What a wonderful place! Friendly staff, lovely coffee and a tasty salad with homemade pesto to round it out. Wish I'd been more hungry in order to try some of the cakes.
