Beautiful food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and fast service of food. I definitely recommend this place for a great meal and will be happy to return.
We’ve been twice over the last 2 weeks once lunch time once early evening , on both occasions the food was very good. Great value too. We didn’t have long to wait , the service was excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The pub has a warm cosy atmosphere..will definitely be back.
The Roebuck is under new management. It is very good now. (I did not know it before 2 weeks ago). Real ales good food and nice staff and atmosphere. The parking meters in the car park are not in use anymore. I am nothing to do with pub. I was just staying in the hotel couple doors away. (Which is also good but doesn't do evening meals).
Just wanted to say how delicious our Sunday dinner was this evening. Home made Yorkshire puddings fresh veg and lovely service by the lady who brought our food out. I'd previously visited the Roebuck over a year ago and the food was terrible. Will definately revisit now if the standard of food was like this evening.

Great new menu on for autumn /winter. It wasn't very busy when we went in so we got served straight away. It didn't take too long for our meals to come out and they were delicious.
Lovely place,lovely staff. We are even considering going for Xmas day for lunch.
Lovely surroundings and varied lunch menu
Lunch for two courses (starter and main or main and desert) plus a drink plus coffee will cost about £0 including tip. Nice soups, main pies and main salmon; the deserts (said my colleagues) were delicious.
Roebuck,s Gammonshank. This pub does the most wonderful gammon shank I have ever tasted for 7.99. A meal for two with a large glass of wine and a pint of beer usually costs about £15. Unbeatable value!
Had an amazing meal here as we were staying nearby. The food was to an excellent standard, that home cooked good pub food you don't find in many places anymore! The team were amazing and we stayed for some karaoke. Cracking evening thank you Roebuck team!

Good range of gluten free options and had a designated fryer for the chips which is brilliant.
Where do I start. The friendliness of staff soon as we walked in were upbeat and helpful straight away. I had already had a sneak preview of the menu before choosing and arriving to eat here. The service is spot on!
The food was amazing! I love the fact that there is plenty of veggie (even vegan) options - they don't just have your boring salad or standard vegetable pattie. They also have a vegan options for a child's menu and I've not seen that anywhere else for such a low price too! The pricing was acceptable and affordable for the adults. I also was amazed by the fact staff were informative about a veggie option and how some things were changed and to why when choosing a vegan option (changing the chips to nachos for example) cheery atmosphere. The set up of the pub and the decor was lovely. Clean pub and quick service. A lovely treat out and will most definitely be returning to try other things from the menu and will most definitely recommend to others 😃
Sunday lunch service was a little slow, but it was worth waiting for. I would recommend this establishment to all of my friends.
Beer choice was limited to Tim Taylor's Boltmaker, but the pint I had was great.
Keep up the good work guys. Seemed a very young team, but they did everything necessary to keep us happy.
Food was delicious we really enjoyed it. Only issue was the swearing at the bar when there were family and children there eating

We broke down on the A629 on Sunday, 26th February, 2023. The bar staff were absolutely fantastic and asked if we wanted somewhere to stay to keep warm.
The food was fantastic and a great place to keep warm on cold evenings. We aren't from the area, but we would definitely come back if we lived close.

service was friendly and food was good value for money - would recommend the mixed grill as it has a lot of variety.
So we moved near here but due to lockdown spent months imagining what it's like. Now we've been a few times, great pub, lovely decor inside and great atmosphere.
Reasonably priced for most drinks, and the burgers are great. They're not the fat juicy burgers I normally see, it was more reminiscent of a bbq burger and it was a nice change. Loved the smokiness of the patty.
A lovely clean and welcoming place.
Had a lovely meal served by a lovely friendly lady from behind the bar.
Also nice to see dogs welcome too..

Bank holiday Monday very busy but still quick service. Tasty Roeburger a Huge fish and chips
Great for calling in for the odd pint with mates or family. Board games etc for the kids. Not eaten there but I've noticed a fare few meals being brought back to the kitchen which is why we've not tried there yet

Visited here when staying with friends, food was kind of standard pub food, but nice and good value. Staff were super friendly and welcoming and there is even a spot of karaoke on a Friday. Will come again for sure.
