Really lovely pub, we went whilst on a walk along a small part of the Penine Way. Great pub, that allows dogs (we didn’t bring one but enjoyed the canine company) and had vegan salted caramel ice cream. Drinks were a decent price, nice and cool place on a hot day. All the staff were friendly.
Brilliant. Can’t believe we’ve never visited before, it’s a stone’s throw from Skipton. Rare we get out to Sunday lunch without the kids, so it’s a precious occasion. The Hare & Hounds didn’t disappoint, it’s a really lovely, well cared for pub run brilliantly. Great Sunday lunch and excellent, warm
Very friendly pub to visit. The staff made you feel welcome as soon as you walked in. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The steak and ale pie was great. I don't often have a dessert but I am glad I did here as the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Good selection of beers as well. Great food at a
Lovely and clean with a cosy atmosphere. Food was excellent, there's a nice option for some smaller versions of the main dishes.
What a fantastic place. The staff are super friendly, the food was fantastic and the pub, beer garden and facilities just stunning. What a great selection of food and drink on offer. Loved all the extra touches with the sun screen, dog biscuits, dog mats, and extra local things to buy at the bar too

Excellent pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Plenty of variety on the menu, we opted for a couple of old favourites,
We called in for an early lunch on Saturday. We didn’t book, but if we’d have been much later we’d have needed to. Great food and a lovely drop of Landlord. But we really like the doggie-friendliness, down to the box of dog mats so the can get comfortable under your table. Great place.
A very nice lunchtime meal in the beer garden! I had the Duck Salad and Schnitzel Burger while my girlfriend had the Queenie Scallops and the King Prawn Linguine, we then finished off nicely with two scoops of mango sorbet 👌The food arrived promptly and the staff were all lovely as usual!
Recommended to book here for a meal and we weren't disappointed. Staff are sooooo friendly from putting our foot through the door. Advised about the specials and most popular dishes carnivore platter salad and fish pie were amazing. Couldn't fit in a dessert but the olives we had with drinks first w
