Great place to eat ,friendly staff .terrific relaxing atmosphere.all the food is fresh and delicious.deserts are to die for.cannot fault this place.
We were in the area and called in for a drink, we ended up ordering food after looking at the menu. The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented and the portion sizes were very generous. We live over an hour away but would definitely make the trip back for another meal here!
Took my husband for his birthday. We shared the mixed grill platter. It was lovely, however I didnt like the sausages. It was well worth the £20 and was very filling. The pub itself is lovely and cosy.
We had a meal there on Thursday of last week and it didn't disappoint. A superb selection on the menu and even a slimmers menu which is the reason we went.
Excellent food quality and huge desert portions.
Also, an excellent selection of locally brewed real ales.
Highly recommended.
lovely cosy place good food freindly staff christine looked after us brilliantly fave family place
The best meal I have had in keighley for a long long time, freshly cooked, delicious food, in a beautiful setting, the gardens/flowers are beautiful, the staff are excellent, the toilets smell & are clean. We Wil Be Back, Thank You
Gorgeous place, love the decor. Great friendly staff, got served quickly & the food was spot on. Will definitely be going back & recommend to friends.
First of all the staff are amazing, I wanted the beef and onion sandwich, it comes warmed in gravy, I didn't want the gravy, it was not a problem getting the sandwich made how I wanted it, when it was served, wow, the platter looked delicious, it was delicious. Thank you for going the extra mile, the rest of my party also thoroughly enjoyed lunch.
Nothing was too much trouble on what was probably the busiest night of the year. Great food, great selection of gins, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Had a fantastic meal there today and good prices with the lunch menu. Would definitely recommend it.
Mothers Day meal for our family of 10 was spot on ... even though very busy the staff were always polite and let us know they would be with us soon ... roast beef to die for ... will definitely be going back for seconds :)

I loved it the starter was lovely only complaint too much! Loved the beef roast dinner and pud environment was great love the feel of the pub old decor staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us
Worth a second visit. Starter arrived amazingly quick. Great main course and dessert. Paying bill took a while. Garden is great. Better in summer no doubt. Staff great. Will be back
We stopped here on our way to a training meeting, the food was exceptional. I had the very tasty cow pie and yet the roast dinner looked particularly good. Decor is typically pub style but with some historical features and real fires.
We came by the Airedale Heifer by chance, and to be fair, it was a bit of a suprise. It was very nice. We both had the Sunday roast, the presentation was good, and the food was really good. Would recommend the deserts as well. Couldn't fault it. Definitely deserves another visit. It looks like a great place to take your kids.
Such a fab night last night at the Psychic Evening. Becky and the team looked after us all brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble at all. The food was delicious and the evening was so interesting. Well worth the money! Great time was had! Thanks again x
Excellent food, good value for money the building and it's surroundings was really nicely done and the staff were helpful and friendly. They had a really good gluten free selection and they helped us out singing happy birthday to my grandson. It couldn't have been nicer.
Will definitely be going again.
This is our favourite place to go for dinner because it's lovely, has great Gluten Free options and we can take our dog.
I arranged a little party for my mum this week and the staff were awesome, the food was great and everyone had a lovely time.
We will be back many many times :)
This is a lovely old pub serving some great food and beer. There is an onsite Microbrewery and the Ales are well produced and very tasty. On the day of the visit, a hog roast was available in the beer garden for £6.50, for a very generous serving of lunch.
The building itself is a Grade II Listed Building standing within what was part of the Old East Riddlesden Hall Estate, The Airedale Heifer is a Former Barn evidence of which you can still see today, in the L Shaped Building and Thick Wooden Beams.
The pub is named after the famous Airedale Heifer cow of the early 1800s which resided on the nearby East Riddlesden Hall Estate , The Cow is still on record as the heaviest cow in the UK it was said to have been 3.5 metres (over 11 feet) long and weighed more than a ton
Great friendly staff!! The ladies on shift couldn’t do enough for us! The food is great value for money and very tasty! I had the bacon cheese burger that was huge and my parents opted for fish and chips and a salad! Great variety. Next time I’m going for a big steak challenge I think!!

Fairly quiet. Food good and we were a large group unbooked. Despite this and warning we may have a longer than normal wait food served in good time. Also reasonable price.
We often come for a meal and can never really complain. Lovely food and reasonably priced. We really enjoy coming when Becky is working. She is really attentive and goes the extra mile to make sure we enjoy our visit. Thank you x
Stopped here for an evening meal, having researched the best places to eat in the area and we were not disappointed.
The building is well laid out, full of random bric-a-brac and the staff are super friendly.
The food choices mean some tough decisions - so many wonderful things to choose from.
When it arrived it tasted as good as it looks. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted great. Portions are very generous and the process were very reasonable.
Definitely stop if you are in the area.
We really enjoyed our visit to The Airdale Heifer today. We called in for lunch after a visit to East Riddlesden Hall. The food was delicious but most importantly the staff were so nice - they all deserve full praise for how friendly and helpful they all were.
We were staying just down the road at the Premier Inn. We called in the Airedale Heifer after looking on Google maps for places to eat. We were given a very friendly reception both on the phone booking a table and also when we arrived in the evening. The menu was very extensive with a great choice and a specials board as well. The bar had a brilliant selection of local craft beers, which were excellent. The whole staff were so friendly, competent, and helpful in every way. The atmosphere was very good. The place was quite full by the time we left but didn't affect the service in any way at all. Overall, we had a splendid meal and a delightful night out.
Such a lovely atmosphere and place to have a drink and food!
We've driven past so many times and decided to treat ourselves for a visit and were very impressed!
The outdoor seating area is so lovely and big! Its also pet friendly so many lovely dogs to see.
The inside is stunning, so much character to the building and the decor is so well done.
The staff were really friendly and convinced us to try the flaming cocktail, although we couldn't see the fire, the drink itself was really nice.
As you can see, we got a selection of different things from the food menu and it was all worth it.
Great quality food at a good price.
Will definitely be back again, its great that places like this are on our doorstep.
Our first meal in Yorkshire and we went to The Airedale Heifer for a beer and a roast dinner! The place was packed but the staff got us a table and service was super quick and really helpful. There's lots of staff so they're not much waiting. The roast pork and beef were delicious, and as expected, the Yorkshire pudding was great! The house bitter, Aired Ale was rich, creamy and really tasty. The Airedale is highly recommended!
