First time here and it didn't disappoint. The menu had a good choice, my mum had the roast beef dinner and it was huge. My jack Daniels sauce for the chicken was delicious. The meat on my husbands lamb shank just fell off the bone. We will definitely be going back again and would highly recommend it.

Amazing Sunday Roast & homemade deserts. Pooches too were made very welcome and had there own doggie treat. Lovely pub and staff were very friendly. Totally recommend a visit. We walked over the moors to the pub and then rolled the rest of the walk back to the car as we were stuffed Total worth 5 stars

Such a gorgeous pub with stunning views. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Can't wait to come back down from the north east to eat here as the menu looked amazing and very well priced. An absolute gem of a pub. Definitely the best one of all from the surrounding areas!

Great meal - beautifully renovated. Service top notch, menu extensive and gin selection delicious👍 We ate steak, salmon, fish pie and fish & chips and all were delicious. Steak pie and black pudding with chorizo were outstanding. Kids loved ice cream sundaes. Well done, chef

This gastropub, with spectacular views of the Worth Valley, has equally spectacular food and service. We tried 4 different mains, a steak stroganoff, rump steak, salmon and chicken breast off the specials board. The conversation stopped immediately as we got stuck into the food. for dessert, we had the fruit crumble and a special chocolate orange cheesecake. Again, it was excellent. The staff are friendly and informed and the atmosphere convivial. And there are those views. This is a place that deserves to be successful. Please give it your support.

Really good, friendly staff and delicious food. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it for good quality food and delicious Gin and tonic! Would definitely go back. Views are spectacular also!

After visiting with my husband on a couple of occasions tonight we brought our teenagers who like us loved the atmosphere the warm fire and the menu. I will one day have enough room for dessert. keep it up.

Met the new owners tonight.. I don't give 5 stars unless it deserves it. The chef needs to pat himself on the back because that was some of the freshest, nicest food I have had for years. The new owners were friendly and really tentative along with the other staff, this is my new favourite place. Can't wait to see their plans cone to fruition in the near future, I am blown away

Stayed in the air BnB which is located onto the pub it was fab, your own space away from home. My thing when I’m away is are the plugs located close enough to the bed and yes they are. Laura was the host who is there to answer any questions you may have. Francis and Laura both are a pleasure to deal with. Had food in the Waggon and Horses and it was exceptional, fish and chips the first night made by the lovely Lisa, then the Cajun chicken burger the Friday made by Sam it was amazing I want the recipe! Served by Cassie who is so chirpy just a delight to be around. And the Saturday before I left I had the Club sandwich again it was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Really friendly staff. Lovely pub. Dog friendly. Food was good. Reasonable prices. We went on a snowy day so it was quiet but does get really busy at the weekends.

Last minute booking. Really nice Roast Beef Sunday lunch and good puddings. Sensibly priced, and friendly, nice staff. Nice to see the place busy the first weekend in January

Lovely food, reasonable price, would have been 5 stars but even though we booked table for two o clock and got there early, we waited an hour and half for our food

Quick visit for a drink at lunch time and bought a portion of chips as a snack (as no crisps). Definitely a good idea, as the chips were the best chips we had had for years. Crispy on the outside and smooth and fluffy on the inside. We will be back in the not too distant future to sample the full menu following our swift visit. Excellent view across the valley as well.

Welcoming, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. We do enjoy a Sunday roast when family from down south join us, but food a little disappointing this time - Yorkshire pud was big, but a bit over-cooked, beef a little too-much-under-done. I know you can't please everyone all the time😉

Lovely traditional pub, but not dated or rundown. We were made to feel very welcome and soon warmed up after getting soaked on the way over. We had an excellent Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, and the pork belly with black pudding bon bons, plus fantastic crackling. Both dishes were delicious and good value. It's a bit odd not to have chicken as an option on the roasts because a lot of people choose not to eat red meat, however I was very happy with the lamb which was tender and flavourful.
