The food here is nice and tasty however everytime we visit they seem to be out of something off the menu. Last time it was chicken and this time it was pesto. It would be nice to visit knowing that they actually have things in stock to cook with next time. We will visit again though because the fish and chips are really nice.
Great value for money and a welcome change from the standard motorway service station fare. The food was cooked to order and not served after sitting underneath a heat lamp for ages. They offered 3 different sized portions of fish and chips and we chose the large..... there was another even bigger !
The cod was served on a mountain of chips and came with mushy or garden peas and a wedge of lemon. None of us managed to clean our plates ! The fish was cooked to perfection , flakey fish and crisp batter.
A really decent cooked breakfast. The staff were really good. Food was tasty and for a meal at a service station, it really was the best I'd had. Cant grumble.

I've stopped and ate here a few times, the brunch or breakfast is good or I have the jumbo sausages and chips, there chips are really nice. There prices are not too bad considering it is at a service station. The staff are usually quite happy and helpful too. I prefer eating here than your typical burger place.
Absolutely delicious food. We had a small fish and chips but it was huge! Came with peas and tartare sauce. Bread and butter was extra. Quick service and well-priced. Will definitely visit again.

Tasty fish and chips with good value portion sizes. Kids menu also provided. Would have liked more vegetable choices but maybe that's a bit much to ask from a traditional fish and chip place!
The location leaves quite a bit to be desired, as is common with most services these days. However, couldn't really fault the food or service from Ramsden's. HR fish and chips is definitely a cut above burger and fries any day.
